Well i downloaded the patch and extracted everything . then when i started the game it said '' d3dx9_42.dlll wasnt found '' how can i fix this

have you tried to verify?

edit ah wait.. isn't that for DirectX ? have you directx on your computer?

Try deleting DirectX9 and reinstalling it, Maybe even upgrade to version 11.

In your element folder, there should be a file called dxwebsetup, run that and it should fix your problem.
