New Quests [Short and rewarding]

Okay, I decided to put together a little guide for the various small quests that are available. They give good rewards so, it is NOT a waste of time to do these.

If you didn't play NH expansion on PWI (or any other server) and don't know where to start, start with this quest. The first thing you'll have to do to access the new content is a quest chain that allows you to enter Primal World (a world like Morai)

Note: The new auto-path is pretty stupid since it doesn't activate your flight automatically and glitches if you use a mount. So, first activate your flight, then auto-path.

New Horizons - Summer Reawakened

To start, talk to General Summer (South Archosaur, 521 629)

New Horizons - Primal World Messenger

Talk to Primal World Messenger (North Archosaur, 564 675)

He'll ask you a question. The answer is "Althea, the Celestial Blade". He'll tell you about some history, not important, but you can read it if you want.

New Horizons - Door to Primal World

Talk to Messenger of Time (Center Archosaur, up on the platform, 552 654)

New Horizons - The Worldspire

This one is a little tricky. First teleport to City of a Thousand Streams. Don't use auto-path, fly up till altitude 50 or so. Then use auto-path (123, 856) and then deactivate your flight. If you use it while on ground, it'll take you to the portal to Lothranis.

New Horizons - Archosaur Student

Talk to Archosaur Student (North Archosaur, 564 674)

You'll get a few pop-ups after he stops talking, get them over with. You also get a quest Deja Vu. This quest will give you a lot of War Avatar Packs. (Deja Vu guide)

New Horizons - Steps to Follow

Talk to Messenger of Time (Center Archosaur, on the platform, 552 654)

You can enter the Primal World by two ways:

Located at 552 654, on the platform in Archosaur.

Located in major cities: West Archosaur, South Archosaur, North Archosaur, City of a Thousand Streams, City of Lost, City of Plume, Etherblade.

Red Dragon Invasion - Emerald Dragon Gulf

You automatically get this quest when you reach level 150.

Go to Emerald Dragon Gulf which is a little east of Archosaur and talk to Imperial General Wu (628 656)

The Crimson Imperium

Talk to Imperial General Wu (628 656) to start. You'll be ported to a small area, no map, no name. Talk to Life Musician Xianzi (475 622)

A Thousand Year's Sigh

Well you have to wait 3 minutes now. You can't teleport out either. So, either go afk or walk around and explore the area, this is the same map used in Trial of Towers (3rd) or you can read their bickering.

Once 3 minutes are up, talk to Life Musician Xianzi (475 622) to finish.

To leave, just talk to Life Musician Xianzi again and take Teleport Home quest.

Note: You can go back to that place by talking to  Imperial General Wu (628 656) and taking The Nameless Basin (Apparently it does have a name)

The Broken Gate

Talk to Crimson Officer Yi (Near Cromagnon Village 94 306) Then take Evil Unseen from him.

Evil Unseen

Talk to Crimson Officer Li (Near Crimson Officer Yi 97 306) Then take Hidden Dragon Den from him.

Now, just wait for a few seconds (could be minutes) Eventually, the quest will complete by itself.

Well, the rewards for these quests aren't really useful. But this quest is a must do as you can't get your new skills without it.

What is Boundary? - Sacred World

You get this quest as soon as you enter Primal World for the first time. Talk to Sacred Mirror (371 464)

What is Boundary? - Reflection

Something like

should pop-up. Click on the icon. Then you'll get a timer, wait for it to reach 0.

What is Boundary? - Energy

Again,

click on it, and wait for the timer to reach 0.

What is Boundary? - Flow of Power

Yet again,

click on it, and wait for the timer to reach 0.

What is Boundary? - Fill Your Body

Aaaaand again,

click on it, and wait for the timer to reach 0.

What is Boundary? - Enlightenment

K, last time, I think

click on it, and wait for the timer to reach 0.

What is Boundary? - Boundary Break

Now talk to Arcane Sky Envoy (Kirin Town 373 469)

You'll get Mirrorflower but you can leave it for later since we have Arcane Sky Pills. So, go to Gods Giving and buy Arcane Sky Pills. In all, you're gonna need 14. Now, use 4 of them. After doing that, press C and check if you see

If you don't, just use a few more pills, they aren't expensive anyway.

You'll be able to claim a reward from the new rewards system.

Mirage Sky Calling - Boundary Break

Talk to Light Emperor Alexander (Kirin Town 380 473) Then take Mirage Sky from him.

Mirage Sky

Talk to Whitesurge (Lord Tyrant's Rear Camp 365 595) you can either fly or use Primal World's teleporters.

Another reward, yay.

6 Nuema Chests
6 War Avatar Chest: A

Now use 10 more Arcane Sky Pills till you get

Talk to Arcane Sky Envoy (Kirin Town 373 468)

Talk to Watch Post: Kirin Town (Kirin Town 379 458, altitude: 38)

Talk to Watch Post: Dragon Tower (Dragon Pond 319 516, altitude: 43)

Talk to Watch Post: Snow Ape Ridge (Snow Ape Ridge 374 578, altitude: 50)

Talk to Post: Lord Tyrant's Stronghold (Lord Tyrant's Fortress 351 624, altitude: 47)

Now go back to Kirin Town and talk to Arcane Sky Envoy (373 469)

Primal World - Army Registry

You need Army Registry Go to 377 472, Kirin Town and dig Registry

Talk to Light Emperor Alexander (Kirin Town 380 473)

Primal World - Inspect Troops

Talk to Commander (Kirin Town 379 467)

Primal World - Future

Talk to Light Emperor Alexander (Kirin Town 380 473) to get this quest.

6 Nuema Chests

This is a daily quest with good rewards.

Talk to Queen Liu Soo (Mirrorflower Kingdom 336 567, altitude: 36) to begin. Yes, its underwater! Anyway take Liu Soo's Plea from her. Wait till you get ported.

Now, talk to Queen Liu Soo again and take Liu Soo's Plea again.

You need Maternity Nectar x8.

Go to 334 557, after getting out of the water. You'll see Fortunate Disciples

And if you don't attack them, or if they don't attack you, they'll eventually use a skill on themselves that changes their avatar to

I couldn't get a good ss but they get 3 blue semi circles spinning around them. So, once you see Fortunate Disciple with those blue semi circles, attack it. After it dies, you'll see

in its place. Kill it quickly before it disappears for Maternity Nectar. It's tricky at first, but pretty easy by the time you get to the 8th one.

Also, beware of Fortunate Taoist, it will one shot you. Talk to Queen Liu Soo (Mirrorflower Kingdom 336 567, altitude: 36) to finish.

20 Dragon Blood Stone

Talk to Queen Liu Soo and take the quest Back to the Primal World to exit.

Talk to Resistance Force Spy (Skydusk Forest 348 469) to take the quest.

Stronghold Assault

You'll immediately be taken to owl mode. Nothing to panic, just like a parallel map. Now, you need Cinder x4. Go to 339 477 (Sky Owl Stronghold)

dig it 4 times.

Stronghold Assault - Empty Stronghold

Now, you have to go to 336 477, it's right in front of you.

Stronghold Assault - Take Back the Food

You have to kill Sky Owl: Defend x4. They aggro you when you go to 336 477 (previous quest) so just use one AoE skill, should be enough to kill at least 4 if not all.

Note: This is a daily quest.

Talk to Light Emperor Alexander (Kirin Town 380 473) and get Last Troops

Last Troops

Talk to Melancholy Soldier (Near Autumn Village 383 625)

Now, talk to him again and take Heroic Warsong Event

You will be ported to a parallel map, kinda. Talk to Melancholy Soldier and take Epic Hero

Epic Hero

You'll get 10 Emerald Wood Pills. These are needed for the quest. What you need is 8 Elite Insignia. For this, go to 347 623 Lord Tyrant's Fortress and you'll see

lying around. Dig 8 of those. Seperate ones, you wont be able to dig the same one twice, unless you wait for it to respawn, but it's quicker to find another one.

Once done, go back and talk to Talk to Melancholy Soldier (Near Autumn Village 383 625)

20 Dragon Blood Stone

You can leave this parallel map by speaking to Melancholy Soldier and taking Back to the Primal World

Daily quest.

Talk to Raccoon Guard (Tree Raccoon Village 363 559) and take Defend R. Tree Village.

Defend R. Tree Village

You'll be ported soon. After you port, you'll see Tree Raccoon Village Chief talk to him and take Rescue the Raccoons

Rescue the Raccoons - Get the Keys

You need Prison Key x5. Go to 362 585, Lord Tyrant's Rear Camp and kill Cage Guards. Eventually, you'll get 5 Prison Key.

Rescue the Raccoons - Rescue the Raccoons

Now look around, you'll see

Dig 5 of those while you avoid attacks from Cage Guards. You'll have to dig 5 seperately.

Talk to Tree Raccoon Village Chief (Tree Raccoon Village 354 562)

Note: The Tree Raccoon Village Chief has no Exit quests so you'll have to talk to Raccoon Guard (Tree Raccoon Village 363 559) and take Leave Story Mode

Talk to Bamboo Raccoon Chief (Bamboo Raccoon Village 375 506) and take Raccoon Alliance Pact

Raccoon Alliance Pact - Pact Fragment

So, you're gonna need 3 items, Contract Fragment I, Contract Fragment II and Contract Fragment III.

Let's start with Contract Fragment I. Go to 364 505 (Bamboo Racccoon Village) and kill Raccoon Fighter.

Then, for Contract Fragment II, kill one of the Raccoon Warriors nearby.

And finally for, Contract Fragment III, go to 342 510 (Near Dragon Pond. And kill a Raccoon Raider.

Then, talk to Mu Hoffen (Bamboo Raccoon Village 375 499)

Raccoon Alliance Pact - Reach Raccoon Tree Vil

Go to 360, 561 (Tree Raccoon Village) and SURPRISE! You'll be turned into a raccoon for some time. (Sadly, I was writing that and couldn't take a screenshot, really sad Q_Q)

Raccoon Alliance Pact - Sneak into Raccoon Vil

Talk to Tree Raccoon Chief (Tree Raccoon Village 354 562)

Raccoon Alliance Pact - Get the Pact

Go to 368 565(Near Raccoon Tree Village) (yes, behind the big ugly head) and you'll see

dig it to get Raccoon ALliance Pact.

Talk to Bamboo Raccoon Chief (Bamboo Raccoon Village 375 506)

Talk to Green Wood Heart Guardian (Dragon Tower 324 542) and take Save the Grn Emp Sword

And again, you'll be ported to a different map. Talk to Mu Hoffen (Dragon Tower 325 528) and take Search for Energy

Search for Energy - Collect Enrg Canisters

You need Energy Canister Go out into the blue water and keep killing Lord Tyrant Scout till you get an Energy Canister.

Search for Energy - Restore the Energy

Now you need Flask of Energy x5. Now go to 326 540 (near Dragon Tower and you'll see

select the Vitality and then open your inventory (B), you'll see Energy Canister , right click on it. Do the same for 4 more Vitality. The Energy Canister has annoying cooldown though, its not that long but you still have to wait.

Search for Energy

Talk to Mu Hoffen (Dragon Tower 325 528)

To exit, Talk to Green Wood Heart Guardian (Dragon Tower 324 542) and take Leave Story Mode

It can be used for a number of things. First and foremost, 50 Dragon Bloods and 1 Dragon Jade will be the cost for 1 R8 reforge. These mats can also be used for crafting things such as War Avatar packs, Nuema packs etc. Basically another method for getting the new stuff on the server.
