Hey I'm starting to get my r8, I'll start with bow, which stats should i aim for, I'm sage but I'm not going for chann

I agree with this, it is what I aimed for , for my archer.

Expect the absolute worst you CAN get, that way, when it happens, (And it most assuredly WILL happen) you wont be disappointed...

I know this isn't what you came to hear or anything, but full r8 armor is more valuable to you in the long run than an r8 bow with full dragon on.  The added defense is great, and your damage still goes up.

  Dragon bow will always be useful to most archers, but the armor is the one thing that will definitely need replacing by the time you go fully endgame.  I'd invest in full armor (even if the stats suck) before worrying on the bow.

If you like feeling "skillful" you should go for CH with lots of crit and attack level, The proceed to fart and faceroll keyboard, for 23 skills per second. Don't forget that IG and stealth!

If you like feeling "Strong" Get int on everything.
Triple int on everything.
I don't care how much EC it costs.
