Can't get back character from old account

Hello,
so about in May last year, I made an account and of course, a character. I stopped playing after a few months, but now I would like to play again.The issue is that I logged in with the same email, but the character I played with wasn't there. I don't want to play all over again, so can someone please help me with solving this issue?
