I suspect this error happens when you're trying to patch the game while having the client opened. I am not sure though. The only fix for it is reinstalling...

how do we reinstall it. we dont have CD. we just downloaded it from your site. please give me more information. thanks

Just unzip the EpicPerfectWorld.zip again and run the start file (patcher.exe)

thats it
delete the existing folder and create a new one with a diferent name (a letter is enough)
then install it there and dont forget to add the exception of EpicPW whole folder to ur antivirus.
after this just start the game from the Launcher.exe
