Epic PW Genesis Update is done!!!

We are aware of occurred bugs, most of them should be fixed today.


- To fix glitched pointer from old patch please copy file: gfx.pck from PWI client to EPW client

- If are encountering error while logging in (crash or disconnected from server), send me PM via forum with your character name

Please reboot the PC and re-download the patch.

no matter what i do i cant seem to be able to play
1) had fully updaed pwi folder, and remaned it to epw
2) downloaded the genesis epw update
3) merged them together
4) waited for servers to come online and made a game account meanwhile
5) tried to open the game with the luncher, said connection to the server failed, i just pressed start anyway, tried to log in and said my game version is too low and i need to update
6) downloaded the manual patch and tried to update

Well i'm now going to try what you said, reboot and redownload.

I have rebooted, now what patch should i re-download? manual patch or the other one?

yep, i done everything you said there, problem is manual patch is the one that said Courrpted file error when i tried to manual update it

everything works fine now, i loged in the game succesfully however i still have one little problem it seems that no matter what name i try to put on my characters it says "Invalid Name"
Is there any name rule or something?

Unfortunately name can only contain max of 9 characters.
