I've had this problem before, think it was cause I didn't have DirectX or something like that, can't really remember QQ

Try updating these:

Direct X: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21
