I am registered on the website but the game incorrect account name or password

hello I have a problem, Today i registered on the website and installed the program and patch
when i open the game I can´t  enter, this tells me incorrect account name or password

Extending on this note regarding can't log into game.. Aga, there are some year old players from the patch before time that can't log into their original toons. Are they req to make a new toon or is there a way to fix their original accounts so that they can log in?
