Fistcher?

To all my fellow archers, is it worth to put those few dex points we need so  hard in strenght for fists? Or does it give archers a lack of attack power?

Here's one oposite example:

I could add more Dex on my Seeker to be able to wield EPW customised bows.
But it was too much of Str reduction and I will keep doing Harpies and Heads i FC without bow.
Too bad Seeker can't use lower level bows from NPC.

For Archer could be another story.

They say that in close combat ranged weapon reduces damage to 50%.
You have to keep some distance for full power.

Maybe that's the reason to count on fists if you have lot of face-to-face fights.

Wait, why holy path if your gonna use fists? Unless you meant stun them from range?

i use fists but honestly i like the pure dex built best

Not sorry it, with the high debuff % and the dmg of bow pretty much can kill everything, barbs and seeker is hardest.
With fists you lose cr, range and dmg for range attacks, and in close you are vulnerable because of la and even with ha/la hybrid you are not strong enough to kill classes you couldnt kill before, because they are made for meele. You can use 120 fists with full la build in 150 tho, without extra str. Archer is much better as dex then it is as fist, atleast here

Seekers do Have 2 normal ranged attacks 1 normal midrange attack and if u get oht skills 1 more ranged attack.

So why would u need to carry a bow when u can kill heads and harpies or any other ranged oppnent with alreasdy exisiting skills.

well if u wanna be good in pvp make pure dex
dont get fists they are stupid because they need many str

If you want to use fists/claws roll a bm. They do far more dmg with them.

I do kill harpies that way. Only 2 skills can reach them while they are high up, and those have cooldown,
so I run a bit to lure them lower.

And for heads, sometimes I have bunch near enough to AoE them faster than with bow, but not so often.

Lvl 120 gear:
LA need only 70 Str, but bow need 124.
Fists need 174 and claw 190.
50 points for fists or 66 for claws in Str instead of Dex.

Yes, If you want bow make archer or sin, if want fists/claws make BM.
But even for BM you have to put pretty much Dex taken from Str (and/or Vit).
