Its not always the case of leveling ...for some its grinding for mats.  I enjoy grinding in TT during 2 x for EC boxies and TT mats for Warsong mats.

This.  I personally don't do much farming other than 2x.  Treasure hunt isn't even worth it outside of 2x.

Pretty much this. I bank any map 5's I get and hold them for 2x. I'm usually sitting on somewhere between 25-30 of them every time a 2x event rolls around.

omg 2k ec everyday, amazing the PVE god can't even get 1k ec everyday 2k ec a day and still have shetty r8 stats 
Anyway we don't need 2x event, we need something fun not pve crap
event that can make me exited
event that can make us want to stay and play this game longer
