New player; Question about gears

Hey there I plan on joining epw once and for all, i feel like every other server is either too hard to play or dead.

I hear that mostly everything is free now, so

1. are the guides on here outdated?
2. what is the actual endgame gear?
3. must we follow official PWI guides to acquire them?

1. I believe most of them are up to date. If you have questions or lost about something, then you can message me or comment here.


2. Most of the player base actual endgame is r8rr. There is special tryhard gear you can aquire also, located by the elder side of thousand streams. Tryhard meaning perfect stats across the board on gear. However, the mats are a pain to acquire and you need alot of them to make one piece of gear.
You can head to the gear/accessories/weapon forge to get pk ready gear available to you for free.


3. No. Its very simple to get them. As I stated in number 2 answer.
