He is, unfortunately one of those very rare few mobs, who does not have his own weapon model seperate.

A lot of mobs have this at the end of their ECM having their weapon file seperate
(Example from a Nivotsk Shieldbearer)

It doesn't(白猿猿神.ecm), that's why the weapon model is with the mob model instead of being separate. New mobs are just like that.

I already looked through /weapons/ a month ago and picked out ones I liked, most of them are old looking though.

well ALOT of older mobs have their own weapon files i Know, and some very rare few new ones, but other then that its hard to find yeah, I was hoping, because his sword looks seperate in nature, but i shoulda known better
