Just started and can't play. [Disconnected From Server]

Just made my account yesterday and it finally updated for me this morning. I open the home screen of the game where it asks you to log in. Hit "log in". It says I was disconnected... I haven't even entered the game yet, let alone make a character. I saw on the forums that it could be my internet, but my internet is fine. Tried turning it off and on, it still doesn't work. I'm at a loss as to what I should do next. If this is having problems already... I really want to give this a try though. Can someone help me out?

1. Servers are showing as offline
- Start the patcher.exe and check if your game is at its latest version. If it's not, let it update and check again
- Restart your router and PC and check again
- Add the elementclient.exe file to your antivirus/firewall exception list
- Run fixit.bat in EPW/launcher and then click 'Verify' button on game patcher and check again

The antivirus might be the main thing
