for you, and anyone experiencing this issue:
Try to "Verify files" in the patcher. if it doesn't work, post on helpdesk and include your username.

Having the same problem, after update all my characters are gone.
Did verify files but still gone

still doesnt work. i just replace elementclient.exe and element/data into the new one. still stuck on character screen. please help me out
