Veno Pets?

I have mained Veno for 7+ years and never understood battle pets since they got badly nerfed. I realize now that the evolution option has become available many years ago. At first I thought that I had some good pets for PvE and such, but now in the more recent years I have seen many other Venos who have excellent pets. For example, some of them that I see are ones that I use myself but they have good defense vs players and still do amazing damage. I have tried rerolling my pets stats multiple times to try for different moods such as atk/def lvls, unselectable by players, tidal buff etc. No matter what I change for my pets they always seem to do no different. They do no damage plus still get one shot by people. Even with me Purging and Amping they still don't support me in the way that us Venos need them to. For the physical pets the proc'd Redstone works well, but other than that my pets have come to be extremely useless in PvP. Yes, I don't PvP all day every day but I do enjoy it from time to time. Is there anyone out there who has a good understanding of how these moods + stat rerolling could help me make some of my pets better? Any recommended moods, skills from the npc would help as well. There was a good guide on veno pets by a supposedly Russian veno a while back, somehow I can’t find it now. Guessed it got deleted I’m not sure. 

But only way a pet can get 1 shot is by mystic’s Absorb Soul, some DoT skills like bleed and from Psychics, and lastly SB’s movement damage skill. Other than that, no other people would bother trying to kill my pets because then I would be able to kill them before they do. 

Moods and skills selection are very important in my opinion as a dead pet is a useless pet for me. When PvP-ing, always make sure your pet naturally has Combat Saint or rolled to a mood that pairs with the Mind mood. Both of these are buffs that reduces damage by players by at least 50-55%, can’t remember the exact number. And on top of either each of these skills, you might want to teach it some defensive buffs such as strong, hp increase etc. 

I always have my pet a balance of 2 atk skills and 2 def skills, instead of going glass cannon and teaching all 4 atk skills. 4 atk skills may work good if you can juggle to keep your pet alive, and have it continuously using it or risk having it dead, which is mostly to your own doom due to limitation of veno’s self CC-ing ability, not to mention long CD of our CC skills. 

I can give you more tips, though I’m not that good myself, when I’m online or something~

Honestly, rarely because int is not the meta for sin nowadays. But even with x4 int aps, I’d still have time to heal my pet if it has the right skills. 
I’m not very proficient in PvPing with sins but what I can observe, other sins which I fought against never felt pets are a nuisance to them because of tidal most of the time. Or maybe they tried to kill my pet but had a hard time so they don’t bother, because by trying to kill it, it would end up me killing them before they are able to successfully kill it.

Don’t have to be sore about my opinion because it’s mine and mine alone, if you don’t agree feel free to leave it as it is. How you and I and everyone else’s perceive this game or any other things are different, deal with it. I’m not here to argue with people for a game, I’ve had enough of it in my daily life. Done.
