Returning player.

So I'm a returning player, and I've been wanting to play a pet class either Veno or Mystic. I don't really care for PVP, I'm mostly PVE. So which of these will suit me and what guides are available?

mystic pets are shit, gets one shot by anything really.

Go for a veno, esp with the primal heal pet skill they can survive a bit longer now.
