Soul Gem Conversion

I previously put Physical defense gems on my gear - now I want Vit +20 gems - but it says the soul gems that cost EC (Quick Exchange -> Pure God Stones, then Enhance->{gems}) to buy from God's Giving are lower than the gems bought with coins and I can't convert them! 

Do I have to get another piece of R8 gear, reroll it and put the right gems on it?

Why you even need the conversation, you have 4 stones, just purge the +15 and put +20, wow

where and how do I purge the old stones? blacksmith won't let me remove/purge them.

Blacksmith is the only option... Maybe not enough coins?

Normal are +15
