Tigers event quest issue

I spent 3 days killing over 4000 mobs. I got 300k+ contribution. Then entered Battle Arena once and lost it. The farmed 190k+ contribution again, which after killing 7/10 tiger bosses went to 250k+. 
When event ended I quickly got to mailbox and no mail was there. I waited a while and then went to west archo for tigers npc. It gave me tiger directive again. https://pasteboard.co/IkaAskt.png
I got no rewards even after having that much contribution and being server's first ranking in tigers event this week. What is this? If this event is broken, replace with something else or reduce requirement of 7999 mobs so we don't spend multiple days killing those and then get screwed over without any rewards.

This was just after killing last boss out of 10 near Raging Tides. That contribution alone would get me some rewards.

This was after calculations were done and I was the highest in contribution among participating players.

Please look into this ASAP and take measures to compensate for my efforts.

+1 decreasing mob count for quest
No1 really does this group event anymore just like how the one in raging tides is dead.

Increase quest rewards

I realized after talking with a faction mate that there was quest or something I had to take from mailbox. So apparently it's my bad forgetting that. Still I stand by my opinion of decrease mobs, increase rewards or make it worthwhile of our time.
I could definitely agree with this. Last week I jumped in on the 8 tigers 30 hours after the event started. People sadly aren't incentivized enough to join

Tigers doesn't get completed until the next day far more often than it's done in a single night. The top prize is 300ec, some-odd ST, 50 raps, 50 uncannies. For the reward, it's not worth the time which is why it requires people to give up on the enormous number of mob kills while others finish it a day+ later at their expense. If the kill count were brought down a bit, more people would up participation and make the rewards more worth it regardless, solving both issues
