FPS drop is not a concern.
Simple models and elements there, Thanks to Agatio.
Players with fancy weapons...Majority of the players don't see it.
Keep that in mind.

Players should not be forced to use simple elements because someone else's weapon drops 30 fps. That's why custom weapon models with FPS drop are not allowed

When it comes to making custom weapons all you really need is spck and blender but good luck opening that massive models pack.

You will also need to know how to use blender but then there comes the problems that no one has solved yet..

First you're going to need a very old version of blender along with working perfect world python scripts
The only scripts that work are not perfect so when you Import a weapon.ski it does not import the bone data and that's a huge problem when it comes to making completely custom looks for your weapons.

However you can easily replace existing weapon models by switching the weapons .ski, ecm, and bon with the desired already existing weapon skin.

i can use the blender, but when i want unpack the models.pck in spck, every windows fail code (#004565464etc) and crashed.
and i still need help..
or one good teacher / tutorial videos..
same with Arabella UI videos (how to make.) i learned.
now need the model.. i want learn.. .ski , ecm.

I don't play epic anymore I play a different server and have no problem unpacking models.pck. Howeverer models on epic is far too large and cannot be open with the current spcks anymore I mean If you can get that open I'll teach you some things.
