Should I make balance changes before or after tournament?

Just assume those changes would affect the way that players teams are set up(comps) and what they can provide with some classes. For example, MG lower damage, veno weaker ult, sb less utility, db less CC
I'm not saying that's what the changes would actually be like, it's just how you should think about it when I say balance changes

We should know what the changes are first, yes. But also I don't think implementing a patch that will change gameplay and team comps with 6 days or less before the tournament is a good idea.

Before, not like u gonna add a new class to server, u are just lowing damage and maybe coldowns from few skills, I don't think it's a big deal adapting to it

sht will be so boring to watch if people are just getting one shotted etc
if u do it now, there's a lot of time to adjust to it, test things etc

More bias actually in this case since Nea happens to be friends with most players from a certain team
