Sage.

Sage - more chi, more def from white voodoo, purify from heal - think these are most factors for sage
Demon - taking less def lvl from black voodoo, better effect of charm and ct debuff (sage are just longer), more crit (from passive + 30% chance to get 50% crit from sandburst blast, which is deadass esp in 1v1)
Imo both good in 1v1, but sage is better in team pvp, 1 puri in 30 seconds can save many lifes...   (imo)

there was psy by the name of Jamez if I am not mistaken... use to have 50 % base crit and he is demon.

The benefits of Sage start to outweigh the benefits of Demon in generality as character based Crit → 100%

I remember times when everyone were going demon for better crits/damage and telling sage is good only for def. Noone would tell you what is better for you, you just need to read description of sage/demon skills and decide which you like more.
