Fake news, 2% rmdt > 10% ele resist
2108 damage on no def top1958 damage on 3x rpdt1999 damage on 19% phy defSo 10% pdef is pretty much same as 2% rpdt, on WR at least, didn't test other classes. Though getting pdef% is a lot harder, so 3x rpdt is better since you'd need 2x pdef%+rpdt or 3x pdef% to be same as 6% rpdt
I tested with marrow so my mdef was high. Here's no marrow: Full Buffs no marrow6% rmdt : 380819% ele resist: 3866Undine Strike6% rmdt: 487419% ele resist: 4861Self Buffs No Marrow6% rmdt: 487419% ele resist: 4861Undine Strike6% rmdt: 676919% ele resist: 6543The wizard's weapon is static damage so it always hits the sameSo, if your mdef is low(around 20k) then ele resist is better, if it's high (around 28k+) then rmdt is better.
Sword, so you can Star Smite for chi in def. Axe would also be useful for using dragon rising in def, but star smite is more important.

What is Star Smite?
\Sage interrupts if curious about that.
