Being entirely serious now, if you lock ornaments, it would make DS useless except for PvE, since almost everyone would go for Cube instead.
This would make PvP actually slower than it is now, since people wouldn't be able to pull out as much damage anymore.
If anything, lock the tome only, it shouldn't do much harm, except making everyone slightly squisher, mainly to duskblades/assassins.

I should prefer to see neck, belt, tome locked, but better to lock tome only than nothing xd, or maybe tome + belt?

 it will expose more bad players in this game if no script....  and some player invest already for def accessories its too late to lock it.. and classes are pretty balance now no more tanky tanky class.. what we need now maybe a unique event that would make player more competitive in the game..

There's an event in FC that GM's sometimes host with custom set gears and is pretty dope IMO wish to see it more in game but it does already exist
