Game crashes at character selection

Hi,
I'm a new player at epic, I downloaded your full client awhile ago. and the game patched was ok
after update was completed, I started the game, enter usename and password
then I got a message elementclient.exe stopped working - > closing program

Here is where it got funny though
If I open another client from another private PW server, and then starts up epic pw client, elementclient.exe does not crash and I can play normally

so, I really need a solution
can you help me plzzz

Did you try adding the EpicPW folder tot he antivirus exception list and then reboot ur pc ?

I have no clue on how to fix technical issues but I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you in game

i had similar problems after the server went down for three days, i reinstalled the client and it worked perfectly fine after that. hope you get it fixed soon

Add it to exceptions for your antivirus.  I had something similar, except it would crash after was in game.
After adding it, it works fine. Hope to see you in game soon and I hope I helped😬

Still no solution to this problem I guess
I already shutdown all antivirus & firewalls
also redownload and reinstall the client several time
still got the same thing

Yes I did,
Already tried everything in it, including reinstall client, verify
reinstall dot net & C++
still got the same problem, as soon as I get into character selection screen the game crashed and shut down
