They will learn in time, i only fough one wizard that actually used water againts me so far.

SB can OS with phy.attacks if you do water shield, but still i think water is better.

SB has only 1 skill that does extra phy damage, and thats perigean tide. Now if it's worth staying in earth shield for it, don't know. But after it's been used mg should def go water shield since that skill has a 3min cd and won't be used in the near future.

Exactly. And this on deals up to 20k non crit (but it did not even crit once for me, like it can't be critical, maybe im wrong)
