If you mean the event gold, it's still there, under the Gold tab in game. And on the panel  for donation points it's still there.

When you donate, you will have to go the points shop and you get the gold from there!

Thanks for explaining. It took me a while but I had to find someone to explain to me WTH this event gold bs was. I prefered the old way. Jeez...Was confusing at first. But it's so simple. Hella blonde.
