apothecary charms

greetings EPW, i just wanted to know if it is possible for GMs to change the requirements of apothecary charms. most of the charms can only be equipped to a g15 weapon and/or lvl 105 below. why bother? these charms can help players to have additional damage or additional resistance for one attack. and it is very useful to TWs, since EPW has very active TWs. as far as i concerned, adding these charms to the game doesn't make one class OP to the other. :)

I posted something about this when I first came here and got turned down but I am still all for it.  It will make 1 shots impossible with them (unless completely amped with amp, hf, etc)  But I fully agree these should b put in.  As for your question if its possible.   Yes, it is very much possible.

if we release this charms we will have more people complaining about how OP classes are (yea lately people complain about any class beeing OP).

- physical def charms - useless because they have to be re-used after each hit and every phys class got rather fast aps, so.. Is only helpful maybe against barb's Armageddon...
- magic def charms - OP as fk, since magic classes don't hit fast, especially lately when most of them is going R8 DPH build, they would mess up PvP pretty badly

- phys attack charms - useless due to aps, they would be drained far too fast, and the attack boost is barely noticeable
- mag attack charms - would be pretty decent for magic classes, but again, the damage boost is barely noticeable

To sum up, making these charms available would give magic classes huge disadvantage due to OP mag def charms, which are spammable and reduce the magic damage taken by huge amount. In my opinion the R8 armor is giving slightly a bit too much def compared to Dragon, and releasing this charms wouldn't help at all in this matter.

the phys def charms and magic def charms has cooldown like the apothecary pots so that players can't spam use them. however, the phys attack and magic attack doesn't have cooldown. and if the damage boost is barely noticeable, why don't u guys implement it?

i know that the phys attack charms can be drained too fast, but thats not really the prbolem since the charms stack at 500. and you can change the stack limit to 1000 and problem solved.

magic def charms has cooldown as well as phys def charms. and if you guys will implement this, you can prolong the cooldown of the def charms. Agatio said that attack charms' damage is barely noticeable, it will probably add 500 base bamage or so. so im not so sure how other classes become OP when these charms are implemented

Since they r not spammable it would work great and also the player has to reequip one everytime it is spent they don't reequip themselfs

agree with this... and even if the charm's aren't spam-able, .. would still give magic classes a bit of a disadvantage..
in terms of def. charms... ;
these were very useful in PWI, where it was pretty much a 1-shot game... but on this server,  we don't need it, things are fine as it is, and balanced...   

if you really consider this, then perhaps increase the CD to 15-20 seconds(just as an example),, or else, it'll be a bit disadvantageous towards arcane's.

as for attack charms;
damage won't be that noticeable, so bleh why not,   will only increase arcane's chance to 1-shot ppl more, even if it is barely noticeable :)

+1 idea also,  the attack difference is highly noticable on these high end charms, id like to be able to craft these aswell.

lol .... it's help for all classes----- and non gett op from it ... all pwi i have been on hade these help charms as i call it and they have a cold down to so cant rly spam it ... it dont make mutch diff but its a helpfull thing for all classes...
