As I see, this topic is quite popular. Poetry corner was in every PW i have ever played.
Anyways, heres something of my own.
(Spoiler: Everything is about PW and factions)

These are the memories...
Of living there.
Tales of family...
Full of trust and care.

Rising Dragon, open soul...
Bloody nightmares, vudu dolls.
Ghosts and demons, killer trolls...
We have won against them all.

Yeah, we fell alright..
Showing the world, showing our might.
This is quick, forget the word long...
Because this is right, other is wrong.

Our power is endless..
We'll win any fight.
It's pure craziness...
It's testing our might.

(yeah i know nothing makes sense, just pretty rhymed words)

silence.

From the Gulistan
To the ignorant man nothing is better than silence,
And were he aware of this he would no longer be ignorant.
When you are not possessed of perfection or excellence,
It is better that you keep your tongue within your mouth.
The tongue bringeth disgrace upon men.
The nut without a kernel is light in weight.
The beast will not learn of thee how to speak;
Learn thou of the beast how to be silent.
Whoever reflecteth not before he answereth,
Will probably utter inappropriate words.
Either adorn thy speech with the intelligence of a man,
Or sit in silence like a dumb animal.

Here's a small poem I wrote for my sister as it is her birthday today <3


The winter is ending
And in this special day
a special person was on her way.

My little sister was born
Out of a ray of warm and shiny sun.

Fifteen years
With laughs and tears
Her eyes shine bright
Her soul is kind.

I love you dear,
That's crystal clear
And in a special room of my heart
Ooh yes, little sister, you will stay
For today and every day!

Hope

The heat of life engulfs you
You dehydrate the joy
You gasp for the life you once had
All apart of the the world's ploy

You struggle to continue forward
The temptation is all too alluring
To traverse this labyrinth no longer
And end the painful enduring

A thousand lives could rest on you
Lest your shoulders be impaled with chains
To drag the dreams and aspirations
Of the forlorn souls that remain

This sphere of illusion is a dangerous place
To live on it one must be weary
Dangers lurk around each caliginous corner
Each moment must be lived dearly

Hope to us is the prayer book to life
One may not neccesarily believe
But sooner would become a devout follower
In one's own hour of need

Hope is the filament you cling to with your life
Swaying across the edge of death
When no care exists and no love is found
Hope is and will be all you have left
