How Tyrants DIDN'T DDoS Apollumi:

This is my response to the DDoS accusations that shortly followed up after TW. I will stay unbiased as much as I possibly can while explaining why this is one of the most retarded accusations I have ever seen (note that this is an unbiased statement too, if someone's an idiot they're an idiot, staying biased doesn't mean not noticing that 1 side is nearly complete fiction).

Let's start from the top. This whole thing started with this thread:

The first problem which I can see is that he only starts recording 7 minutes into TW (while the TW lasted 8 mins and 27 seconds from what I remember (seconds don't matter in TWs as much as other games therefore any reasoning saying that 1 guy DC'ing for 1 minute and Apo lost TW because of that doesn't make sense). 1 guy in TW can barely make a difference.
The second immediate issue is that this doesn't really look like DDoS. This looks like bad internet. If anyone in this game has been DDoSed (I've been DDoSed quite a bit actually for some time in the past) they would know you get shut down. Your internet goes out completely. Think of your internet like a sewage pipe (like Apo's skill level, banter). Imagine that pipe taking in water (data). Now imagine it starting to clog up. It obviously still stop working eventually, leading to a D/C (disconnection). If Maxy was getting DDoSed from the start of TW which he claims here: http://prnt.sc/c6axr7, he wouldn't be able to come back on. A DDoS doesn't last 30 seconds, especially not what I've experienced. The robotic voice and the laggy video is not proof of anything but bad internet (:>), your full proof is awful. Should have showed logs, would have been more credible.

Which is complete crap seeing as how Pedro has confirmed he never "got DDoSed".

I feel that this is enough analysis for this fairy tale of a post, so let's move on.

Next I will be going through individual posts which I've found rather stupid.

Firstly, I'd like to say great logic to the writer of this. It's really interesting to see people just giving very unlikely possibilities as actual proof (this may be misread, either she thinks this is actual proof or just a possibility. This doesn't even matter though). Listen, a word of advice when trying to prove something: use hard evidence. Also it's very interesting how people which never got DDoSed have most of the opinions on this topic (you'll see this later).


So no DDoS attacks so far have reported anything similar to this yet now everyone's had this happen to them right? Your proof is kinda shoddily made, almost like you're finding excuses. :>


In this video which Chill links he experiences the same thing but for a shorter time, this isn't at all what DDoS is.
Also doesn't help your case when a troll post is called out for being "retarded LOL".

Here we have further accusations from Tyrants members, both don't have proof so there's no reason to regard them with any analysis (see, unbiased analysing, PogChamp).


Since this is a well known already proven fact there's no need to prove this.

From what I understand, the Russian meant something like "You write that Tyrants were DDoSing you, but you have no proof. This happened to us, it was very similar - minus the DDos accusations-. Your logic is flawed when it comes to individual factions."
Which is a very solid statement which can be backed up easily.

Now let's talk about other things.
While in vent I was talking to all the officers nobody ever mentioned any DDoS attacks in the 1-2 hours I was in that room. Me and 4 officers were playing Overwatch, nothing else (video by Chill soon guys, Teru lost 1v1). Conscience seemed clear, Chill didn't even wanna go TW, I was gonna continue playing OW instead, almost like you got outplayed by huge part-timers. :>
