Did you verify the files already?
Try to verify the files before redownloading. That may saves you a lot of time.
Verify Button is to the right of the Start Button.

Printscreen, press that button and copy into paint, better editing and quality
As for the error, well i know this person that gets kicked every few minutes and gets a not responding/other error message. I wont sugget to Verify/re-install as you would have already done that. Try and lower all settings to make it easy on your poor CPU

How old is your client? Could it be that you still have the really old version?
You may have to download the "new" Client. But before you do it could you post me the screenshot of your patcher?
And also try the suggestion of Billsoro lowering your settings.

I used to have that problem on the main server, The only thing i could do to solve it was keep redownloading it and trying again.
