That's not what he said. He said that hiero bugs are something constant due to big gear gap. But still most of the community complains about people being too tanky. The patch is going to address that.
And how much does it take anymore to get a decent gear and compete with others? If someone's complaining that it's still "hard to gear" these days, then the person has totally different expectations from the Perfect World server and wanting it to be something it's never supposed to be. Sure this could be a server with fixed gear and nothing to do, but how many people would be playing on it?
