Ok tell that to the 11 ms base, 3 CC skills in tiger form. Barbs have plenty of CC within tiger form, all have same, or more % than a mage (Alacrity, ancestral and the debuff) It's not the "only" hard hitting skill either. I doubt anyone was actually serious about the increasing the cooldown, my point was that: 1. it's a unique skill, meaning it doesn't stack with any other debuff.2. It's stackable with it self.3. It's unavoidable, unless you're going along with what the idiot that suggested faithing a 6 second cooldown skill everytime a wb comes close to you. ps. Wings of protections won't do shit when you can literally get 2 idiots to stack stuns on-top of one another, the problem wasn't tanking it was being unable to move.4. you're saying low duration, where as it's average compared to other classes and also has the lowest cooldown for a stun skill in the game. 5. It's not needed on this server, as knockdown was implemented because of high puri proc rate and the lack of patches that PWI has in terms of balance. tl;drBarb doesn't need paralyse, it can be edited to the previous stun as was done on syndicate, keeping the immobilize if fails proc still.

You forgot a few.Force of will 100% seal 18 sec cd.Mountain seize 95% stun 30 sec cd.Sorophic Whisper 100% sleep 2 minute cd.Ice prison 4 separate 80% chances to stun, which stacks with regular stuns. 2 minute cdBlinding blaze 100% immobilize once every 8 seconds.All this on top of its advantageous kiting and speed reduse skills, ofc.If you think barbs control is even half way as good as wizards you're insane.
Guys when is the reason for keeping knockdown in the game going to come up? It's obviously not meant for this server. All of this is just chit chat, with no actual reasons behind most statements.
Knockdown itself is fine, it doesn't matter that the original intent was for high puri proc rate servers. It is not broken to the point that it needs to be removed, the point is its spammability. At the end of the day, even if the cooldown is not increased by those couple of seconds, it doesn't really matter, Domgrath still sucks with it...
Replace it with the normal stun and it's suddenly not broken, since it's fortifyable.
That defeats the point. It is kinda annoying that barb knockdown is practically unavoidable, but its like that to make up for their lack of stuns or locking ability. It provides them an advantage to lock others even when they are using anti-stun effects because they rarely get a chance to even land a lock on many classes, such as mage, mystic, archer, due to their superior kiting or cc ability. However, once a barb gets a hold of you, the spammability of knockdown is broken because at that point, you can't do anything besides perhaps ADing if its not on cd..cant use pills when knockdown either. tl;dr knockdown effect itself is fine, skill has too short of a cooldown
