Epic Perfect World

Who do you REALLY support?

I didn't realise there were more Aussies around.
Woot.

And it's the 3 backstabs in 5 years that bothers me.
Shows how meaningful our vote is.
Each time has mostly been an utter failure until now.
Not to mention our first female PM was a disgrace to women.
Tony, well, nuff said.

Not that I care too much about politics anyway,
I just like working the elections cause it is good money :x
Woot, Aussie pride... Side note. We elect either the labor or liberal party based on who that party has elected as a leader. Meaning they can change the leader at any time... Politics is a bore, empty promises to win a popularity contest and then a few years of dissapointment until the next election

I know that, but when we vote for a party,
99% of the time, we are doing it based on who is leading.
For them to change it, with very little involvement of the voting population,
other than a couple of popularity polls, which just compares liberal and labor,
not within parties, is my problem.
Also the fact that it shows that within a party, they cannot work together, they don't trust each other,
they lose confidence in each other, and they vote to have each other removed.
And that is the group of people trying to run the nation? Definitely instills confidence.
Who is to say we want the next guy.

Yes, especially in GDP growth rate, if you compare them to India for example  ;)

bad index of development, unless Papua New Guinea is an alpha tier country in your books, hence the term "developed" and "developing" country  :normal-29: nice try though

This seems work in 10kk population countries, even when GDP of those countrys are 22th and 27th, but well i dont see this beeing applyed in 200kk+ population countrys, australia/NZ(5th and 3th on life index ranking) are best country in my opinion and they dont have socialist moods..(regardless of the komodo dragon)
1) Wrong, Australia has Universal Health Care, just as Canada does ( New Zealand doesn't not sure why ), Australia/ Canada both have a distributed banking system, which happens to be the same things which Bernie Sanders proposes in essence, like i said to Alexypk before, it isn't Socialism as such, its Democratic Socialism.
2) As for Socialism in South America, South America was extensively looted by their Colonizers at their "birth", then extremely interfered with by the US during their recent past ( Cuba especially ), they also are flooded with Drug cartels ( this hinders their development ), Many South American countries also were ruled by dictators who compromised their country for their personal welfare.

Agree 100%... System is BS! But unfortunately it's the way it is... I do have some hope as the young generation gets older and the current generation croak it that things will get better. assuming we don't all die to global warming or nuclear war... Or QQ balance threads...
