Im not 100% Sure here, but I think some of the files may be corrupted? May have to re-download...
Probably best to wait for someone who is sure what the problem is to post.

you downloaded the full client or you patched PWI or other server?
i would advise you to download the full client but d not use google chrome.

Download the game page, download it from mirror 1, and use jdownloader.
I'll have to download from another mirror?

hm i dunno if it helps but did update your graphic card ?
also do you have directx installed? aswell as the dx runtime?

tried to use the start.bat file instead of the patcher to update ?
and did u have to allow the program to run as an admin ? (you will have to with the start.bat file)
