What about adding
pink name = 800 posts
golden name 1200 posts
Light blue (like the one from retired gm name) for 1500
and people to be able to choose their name colour out of those that they acquired
so if u are over 1500 posts and u wanna use the basic black name u will be able to use it, same for all other previous colours
just an idea

I personally do like pink but many people (especially guys) wouldn't be fine with it. As for the golden name I would choose another color since the color Frost showed up is so damn hard to read it literally hurts my eyes. The idea is good though.
