Epic Tournament 2015 !

We would like to gladly announce that there will be a main PvP Tournament hosted in July with a great rewards designed.
All the matches will be held in the weekends.
Please read this topic carefully as it will describe all the information needed regarding the Tournament.
You can register your team or ask any question regarding the event here in this thread.

Registering a team

This Tournament will be of 6 vs 6 although each team will be able to register 10 players.
There is a rule to follow about registering your Team, you will be able to only register a rainbow squad.
This means you will need a squad with ALL the classes existing in the game at this point.
We decided to follow this to give a chance to all the classes and make sure that squads are balanced.

You will need to register:

• 1x Blademaster
• 1x Wizard
• 1x Archer
• 1x Cleric
• 1x Assassin
• 1x Psychic
• 1x Seeker
• 1x Mystic
• 1x Barbarian
• 1x Venomancer

Picking the 6 players for the fight:
The Team will need to PM the online GM with the 6 players that will fight before each match.
Team will not know the squad set up of opponent's Team, as we will teleport the Teams away from each other.
Team will only know the fighters chosen once they are in the area.

To register your Team you will need to follow this simple form below:

• Team Name
• Names of the 10 players
• The Class of each of the registered players
• Team Logo  (optional, feel free to edit it later)
• Colour of the rewarded event title
• Team's preferred time to fight (please use Server Time based Time. If you need help to get this time please contact a GM)

Tournament rewards

The team that wins the tournament will get the following:

• Title - The Title will be related to the Team's Name registered, for example: "Epw_Team - Epic Tournament 2015 Winner" (The title colour will selected by the Team when registering)

Epic Tournament 2015 Winner Incantation - casts Strength of the Titans, Spirit's Gift and Beast King's Inspiration buffs on oneself. Weapon Physical Damage: +30% Weapon Magical Damage: +70% HP Increase: +30% - for 1 hour. It has a cooldown of 30 minutes)

The team that finishes the tournament in 2nd Place will get the following:

• Epic Coin x2000
• Supply Tokens x1200
• Event Token x40
• Donation Points x50
• Title - The Title will be related to the Team's Name registered, for example: "Epw_Team - Epic Tournament 2015 2nd Place" (The title colour will selected by the Team when registering)

The team that finishes the tournament in 3rd Place will get the following:

• Epic Coin x1500
• Supply Tokens x800
• Event Token x20
• Donation Points x30
• Title - The Title will be related to the Team's Name registered, for example: "Epw_Team - Epic Tournament 2015 3rd Place" (The title colour will selected by the Team when registering)

All the participants that do not qualify in 3rd, 2nd or 1st Places will get the following:

• Epic Coin x800
• Supply Tokens x500
• Event Token x10
• Donation Points x10
• Title - The Title will be related to the Team's Name registered, for example: "Epw_Team - Epic Tournament Participant 2015" (The title colour will selected by the Team when registering)

The rewards displayed above are to be delivered to each player of the Team.

Rules of the tournament

Registering a Team:

• While registering your team please do not use any kind of insulting names, mimic from faction in order to mock or joke about.
• Logo must not contain any insult word or images to offend other players.

Jump / Fly Status:

• Jump will be available although a rule will be applied to hit to prevent several issues such as glitches, kiting, stalling, etc...Players will be allowed to Jump in the Tournament but not to kite in purppose or to stall the match, such attitudes will be taken as a mocking and bad way to fight, this will result in a penalty: Player will be killed by the GM and be Disqualified.
• Flying during fights will not be allowed. Breaking this rule, be it for fun or accident, will result in an instant kill of the said player and further player Disqualification.

A few potions, items will not be allowed such as:

• Speed Chocolate
• Power Chocolate
• Wisdom Chocolate
• Memory Chocolate
• Armor Chocolate
• Protection Chocolate
• Force Chocolate
• Longevity Chocolate
• Energy Chocolate
• Spirit of Assault
• Spirit of Defense
• Blinking Poultice

Few skills will have restrictions / time of usage:

• Assassins and Archers will be only allowed to Stealth for 8 seconds.

Consequences due to violating certain Rules:

• Using a potion thats banned from the Tournament will result in: Disqualification of the Team in question.
• If player is caught past the limit time of the Stealth will result in: Instant kill of the said player.

Team and fight management:

• The exact time of day of each fight is still to be set and will depend on the time that is most convenient for the Teams.
• Each Team will have a maximum time of 30 minutes to gather 6 players for the time of the fight.
• If your Team does not have 6 players to fight at the set time, your Team will be disqualified and lose the match.
• Any type of "Reflect" will NOT work in this location.
• Wizard's Mortal and Tactical Reversion will work.
• Ressurection from Mystic and Cleric are NOTallowed.

Matches time limit:

• Each match will have a maximum time limit of: 15 minutes.

Matches system:

• In the Groups Stage, Teams will fight 2 times. This means that (as an example, no teams names will be used) that Team 1 and Team 2 will fight twice forcebly. The results will dictate if there will be a Win a Loss or a Draw. This simply works when one of the Teams have 2-0 as result and so 1 Team wins and the other Team loses, or, the result will be 1-1 which gives both the Teams a draw.
• After the Group matches are done the top 2 Teams of each Group will move on and the remaining Teams will end their Tournament there.
• In the Semi-Finals Teams will fight in a Best of 3 (the team that wins 2 fights will move to the final and the defeated team will move to the 3rd place match)
• In the 3rd Place + Final match the teams will fight in a Best of 5 (the team that reaches 3 wins will be declared victor)

Points system in the group stage:

• Each Win will award the Team 3 Points
• Each Loss will award 0 Points
• Each Draw will award 1 Point

Draw and Points system deep information:

• The draw will only occur when in Groups Stage both Teams have 1-1 out of the 2 matches.
• If the Team end up the 15 minutes of the fight with alive members, GM's will ask Teams to STOP and count the number of alive members. The Team with most alive members will be considered the victor for that fight (either in Groups Stage, Semi-Finals, 3rd Place Match and Final).
• At the end of the 3 matches (in the Groups Stage) if there are Teams with the same points a system will be used to decide who is the Team that goes 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and 4th Place, this system will be based on the alive members of each Team on each previous match. Lets take an example: Team 1 (win) vs (lost) Team 2 - alive members after the match on Team 1 = 3 members | Team 3 (lost) vs (win) Team 4 - alive members on Team 4 = 1 member. This means that Team 1 will be placed higher than Team 4 because the Team had more alive members. (We hope is clear for everyone)

Kills Count:

There will be a system used to count the kills during the Tournament to count who will be the player with the most kills ! This is a feature we are glad to implement even if troublesome we will try to keep this updated. This task will be really hard to maintain but if in the end we can control it, the player with the most kills will be awarded as well. Please take note that this is not decisive, we will try to keep track of kills in the first step of the Tournament, the Groups Stage. If we decide its not working well we will remove this but if its possible to control and keep track of kills we will keep it till the end. We decide to test it in the Groups stage because is the best period to do it, if we decide to remove it later players could claim favouritism towards someone and we do not want such drama involved so its best to prevent it.

Crash Reports:

We love a fair game so we will give the opportunity to Teams to report any crash that may occur during the fights.
Crash from the Game:
To prove us you had a real crash from the Game we will need you to do the following:

• Wait for the game to completely crash and shut down;
• DO NOT OPEN THE GAME AGAIN;
• Go to your EpicPW game folder;
• go to the EPW/element/ folder and search for the folder named: logs
• Add this folder to archive (make zip)

You will be able to send the .zip file to the online GM at the time, you can add us on Skype, our names can be found in our Forum profiles.
This will be the only way to prove a disconnect, other than this we will not accept any excuses.

Video isn't very good due to many things, first I forgot I was recording xp v 10r since I was watching the squad for deaths/rule breaking. Second part I was streaming aswell so it should be better. Sony Vegas lags alot for me when trying to watch the video so I rendered before watching at all. 2 of the same song are in there I believe. I also forgot to increase my Fraps settings.

Imagine situation, in 2017 a veno who has played for 4 months but is fully geared, fights aganist one of the winners from this event, assume an EA. 
WF debuffs EA, but EA gonna use this item after debuff, gets buffs back and still has pill up, survives thanks to buff and sutra and WF dies, all because the EA won some event 2 years before...
