Remove duels from 1v1 Playoffs

Make 2 types of Playoffs
1. Normal playoffs with unlimited time.
2. Only duel playoffs.
This should be at event suggestion thread, but ok :c

The sole purppose of Duels is to get a decision on the winner.
Duel cannot be removed due to the simple fact that we (GM's) wouldn't be able to pick a winner after the 5 minutes. I do not play the game i have no alts (aside from the ones i use for tests) and i alrdy get called of favour this and that or evenf avour factions. Can you imagine if we were to decide who wins after 5min of fight ? I'm sorry but i prefer to prevent such situations instead of creating a lot of drama cuz of 5min.

Now the solutions need to turn around the 5min + Duel.
 Such suggestions as:
1. Restrict Rings
This can only be done by Agatio, until then i have no control on checking players gears every 20 seconds + having an alt Assassin chekcing inventory every 20 seconds. Specially with the macro keyboard + mice around the globe. Its not a solution sorry. After Agatio restrict Rings (if he decides so) then it will be diferent since i don't have to check such situations cuz it won't be needed.

2. Use onlt Rank 8 / Use only Dragon gears
This sadly is the same sort of reply as above. I have no chance to check such thing. Takes a lot of time for me to check 1 time, 20 seconds after, another time, while a player cans witch gears in my 20 seconds for a minimum of 19 times (depends ont he time set ont he macro).

3. Limiting Stealths / SoG / Sleep
Stealths - Maybe limiting this skill for 6 Times (thats the amount i thought fair and stop beeing spammable.
SoG - This skill needs to be limited to be used 3 times during the main fight and 2 times during the Duel.
Sleep - This skill does not require a limit. This skill has a chi consumption and high cooldown. Also note that this skills does not have a 100% chance to sleep for the maximum seconds displayed onthe skill description. This skill could very well sleep you for only 14 seconds, not exactly the 34.


Any other suggestions can be discussed here about this Event.

2 GMs
2 arenas
8 players ( 16 is too much )
2 groups ( 4 players each )
4/3/2 mins per fight
draw 1 point each
win 3 points
lose 0 point
top player in each group goes to winner bracket
2nd player in each group goes to loser bracket
3rd and 4th eliminated
BO3 winner bracket matches
BO1 loser bracket matches
BO5 finals
once/ twice a week event.
Tiebreaker : incase of a tie, 2-5 min fight with no pots and no genie, if its still a draw, coin toss
best format imo

group stages ( 12 + 12 fights = 36 mins or less )
brackets (10 matches or 11 max = 20-30 mins )

reasoning: this will promote fast kill type players and not def campers because they might not go past group stages if they camp def and draw every round, i know i am smart jajaja.

Yeah lets nerf ep's, meanwhile u get 1 ep in 5 playoffs, and 50 sins in 1 ....
How many ep's actually win playoffs? 1? 2?3?
How many sins?myst?wf's? .... lets not nerf a class because a few can play it....
This is rly ridiculous , if you nerf ep's, wich isnt even ranked top tier in 1vs1, you have to nerf the other classes aswel
And SoG requires 1spark, take away my chi and i cant do anything

Incase of a tie breaker.....which will be rare trust me, just do it once, i ll help u guys out if u want, it  ll be much better than a straight up elimination bracket

I just dont think we should consider " nerfing " ep's, meanwhile barely anyone plays it and isn't even considered Op compared to sin or other classes. Limiting SoG is a big no, you can limit it to 5x times in duel, but not in main fight
