-1 No way dudePsychic is fine the way it is, there is no need for any boost. For the ones saying that 'White voodoo isn't a factor'It actually is a factor. Psy's in mass PK are going to die regardless, however in 1v1 they are very well off. You'll almost need to use will surge to kill them, and even then it'll be a tough one due to the almost constant physical immunity. The class is meant to die easily, but dish out ridiculous amounts of damage.
Just to clarify a bit, psychics are not well off in 1v1. Sure my psychic is, but what other psychics are competing these days? Using willsurge isn't the end of the world. In 2015, most classes should have willsurge if they plan to fight psychics; just like any caster should have evil ward. Every class has a method to control a psychic through physical immunity. Every single one. Therefore, that isn't a realistic counter to the suggestion either. Expel is the same concept as white voodoo anyway since unless you time it on a seal, you are unable to attack for the duration anyway. It's a stalling mechanism if anything.White voodoo isn't a factor in this discussion because white voodoo isn't going to kill anybody. The original poster is requesting a change in psychic defense so that it can comfortably do damage without feeling forced into defensive gameplay. If defense were boosted, white voodoo would hardly be effected because most don't try killing through white anyway. A defense boost only effects the standard way you will be trying to kill a psychic. The vast majority people will only be attempting this when a psychic is in black. Therefore, this is almost exclusively a black voodoo related discussion. If this suggestion gets new psychics to stop camping white and actually be useful, I think it should be looked into.
Giving them a possibility to be more tanky in black voodoo would just ruin pk. They can sit in 100+ attack levels and drop bombs on everyone while still living. Their class was made for strategy. To be able to switch from black to white. There were psy's in Ducks TW that were using frenzy and just wrecking our cata barbs. Thankfully frenzy made them squishy and we were able to take them out. But if they had more pdef and or a longer silence...say hello to mass amounts of psy's on this server. No thanks.

Please do something to psy to make them more viable.- squishiest class ingame- most inmobile class ingame- everyone and their mother uses will surge and it take a total of 3 hits to kill a psy- only class that consistantly get hiero'd because of having less def lvl and low hp pool- everyone using programs to switch entire gear sets, psy have vodoo wich actually requires chan and casting time. Everyone has vodoo these days only their version is faster.just give them level 11 soul of silence, its been to long.i havent put much thought to other sugestions, if you have any positive changes post below
