well unbinding items is just an option for people who did a mistake binding or wanna switch toons and they gonna pay for it, help the server and bring $ to the server, i dont see the downside if, because i was dumb, i bound lets say, a 3int blackhole bow, on a sin.i want to unbind it.i cant thoill pay idk, 20 points? (10k ec) unbind it, take itand so on. the unbinding should last more than 3 days to avoid 'item stealing' or a 'email accept' or something
Does someone even know if unbinding is possible?
Of course it is, certain GM has done it a bunch of times..
http://epicpw.com/index.php?topic=25475.0 .. IJS.. RESTRICT THE RINGS
They won't remove gear binding since it'll cut directly into servers profit. Any servers profit that has donation, however, wouldn't allow unbinding.
since many people of epw rely on the broken defence brought by 1x/2x phy rings or 1/2x mdef rings on the oposite type of classwhy doesnt aga add 154 strength requirement for physical rings and154 mag for magic rings
also find way to remove bound from items pls gm ty ((((((((((9 (for donation points and to take a while to not cause items loss if account is broken or shit)
So every other archer would lose their magic ring with rare engraves? That would be too big nerf concerning too many players.Anyway, unlike class restriction, it's not possible to add stat requirements to already existing accessory, they would have to be reforged to apply this and then people would lose their engraves. This idea could work only if the rings were that way from the start, not now.
i see, thanks a lot for the reply regarding this oneis the class restriction taken in consideration?and about the unbind option?@ the binding, as i said, people do mistake and forget stuff/new to game etcjust asking xdwould benefit a lot of people or atleast make them happy
Well it's possible, but time consuming to make automated system that would do this. Right now I have other priorities.
20 points is way to much for unbinding one item, rather make an npc to unbind the item-1 to rings, just leave it be it'll cause more harm than good.
