Tips for a newbie Barb?

Hello, well to start, I know most of you guys would say "use search button" "this has been answered too many times" etc etc, yes I know, and yes I did searched the forum and found a lot of answers (even videos)

I would just like to get some basic tips since I never had played a barb before. I just wanted to know if it's possible to make one with decent amount of HP and can deal pretty decent damage too. So far I found out that an APS build might suit me, but I just wanted to know if there might be any other builds out there on the wild.

And oh yeah one of the questions that has been on my mind is Poleaxe or Dual Axes?

I'm also planning to maybe go Demon since it seems to be more on the DD part.

I would really appreciate any input on this.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. But Dual Axe hit harder, poleaxe hit faster. Poleaxes are more for bms imo.

As what I noticed Dual axes usually give +Str so yeah they might be giving more damage, but poles might actually fit me for APS I guess. I've been seeing a lot of barbs with Poleaxes and rarely with Dual Axes, guess I just like how dual axes look like.  :sad:

I'm a Demon DD barb and I use dual axe. I can 1 hit someone.

I recommended u go Pure str which is 84 dex and all on str BUT if u want some accuracy to help u and crit go 150 dex and rest on str.
Although Bloodrush can help with accuracy if ur pure str it wont give u a massive advantage+ i think full str is the way to go as the 2 main skills barbs use are 100% accuracy including the morai ancestral rage :0
and i reccommedn u do with dualaxes and pole axes it wont matter what u use as u can change from wepon to wepon BUT ultimatly i would reccommedn PURE STR 84 Dex and All on str and Dual axe.

Poleaxe is for Barb/Wb. The only poleaxe that a wr/bm can use is the r8 one. You can try getting 3x int Gof poleaxe. I would consider using Poleaxe since it has longer range that means longer range to do a "Mighty Swing".

& With 420 dex + 150 claws, you should be 50% crit base.
