Any factions actually active?

Hi all,

I have a question on how active factions are here.

So far I have been in a few and there never seems to be more than 10 people online at the same time....and even then most seem to be afk.

Is this normal for EPW?

You must be trying all the wrong ones because we have a lot of active guilds.
We have the most populated PW server.

Off the top of my head:
- Artifex
- GG/Outcasts (I think)
- Worms
- Ducks
- GodsArmy
- Rawr
- Ruthless
- Warning
- Overseers

These are generally the ones you usually still see people from or the ones in PK a lot.

There are quite a few Asian factions too.
Depends on your timezone as well.

My advice is that a lot of factions that recruit on WC are the smaller factions, sometimes made to farm the DS event or otherwise.
Look around in populated areas and PK areas.
Those with logos and those you see in those spots are probably gonna be your active factions.
Also check the TW map. Alt factions can't do TW so those on the map should be fairly active.

It could be that I am looking in the wrong places. Hmmm looking to learn pk...am very familiar with TW and pve however up until now have not pk's much at all and this is what I want to learn but also for it not to be everything I do.

EPW like allways and every server, got ups and downs. Atm in fact the bigger scale mass PK aint ALOT like before ,unless the asian time zone one ( Alamat, Aeons , AxeGroup, d.Ares, and now Aguila and Heaven have become slightly bigger and join the alliances), those in fact , can still bring out huge numbers daily , during that time zone.

That beeing said, you have Artifex and Outcast with the majority of the known PKers that are active atm. There is arround 25-30 in Angelache, who were old Xpendables. Some still in Xpendables aswell , but the last 2 are mostly inactive at the moment.

Then you have Worms and GodsArmy both allied, and still bring out very decent PVP pretty much daily , either on European time zone , or later on USA/Canada one.

You have also Warning, which is mostly made out EAs , MGs and Venos, they dont have alot of support but they can alone bring possibly as many (if not actually more) then Worms and GodsArmy together.

Ruthless shows up for PK sometime, but they're arround a squad most times, barelly ever more then it ( unless maybe TW days ).

Ducks , i don't quiete honestly know what happened ,it's been quiete some time since i've seen more then 3-4 pking.

And most recently , on USA/Canada time zones Shindola, they're not a big faction but they're able to bring 10-13 people , not more i believe, however still PK.

That's about all the main / worth mention PK guilds i can tell you as for now. I'm sorry if i forgot one.

I think you are just unlucky , maybe timezone or the places you go, currently SilverPool , GoA, and Village of Lost, it's where the bigger PVP's have happened most times. Try look arround those.

P.S.: On a side note there is way more smaller scale RPK , either by small groups in those above mentioned guilds ,or just factionless players.

Check the guilds section on forums, as some guilds give a description of their guild, what they do and also their site so you can get an idea.

Rawr is a fairly active guild for PVE and some PVP, I think.
A lot of factions here mostly specialise in PK.

if you want to join a real pk faction that could give you decent pk daily u could try
all timezones: Artifex but I think it's hard for you to join there since you still willing to learn pk but idk
asian timezone: axegroup/ares/Aquila/heaven/aeons/alamat
middle east/European/N USA timezone: Worms/GodsArmy/Warning I don't know about outcasts I really haven't seen them lately in pk they could be busy with something else

now if you want a faction that might give you TW that could last between 30minutes~2hours you could try

You don't need more than one for that bootie.
On a serious note, we do PK, lately mainly in NS, 'cause that's where we get some small (same numbers or slightly outnumbered) pk.
We also go YOLO and LLEROOOY JJJJENKYNS and FOR SPARTAAAAAAAAAAA, at times. Sometimes with allies, sometimes alone.
But we are ninja Ducks so we blend in. Bahhaahhahahhaah.

Try applying for Shindola. Out of the guilds I've been in, this one is the most fun at the moment. Their activeness starts pretty late at night though, at least for me. Around 6pm-6am and spikes throughout the day. They have  guild events, ds events, ns pk, small rpk, etc.

I think for the most part, a lot of guilds are partially inactive right now because Storm just reopened and so did some fancy new 1.3.6 server [Cyber Technology]. Once the hype of those dies down, guilds will become active again. xD

Overseers are pretty active n have around 20 to 30 people online at different times
We don't force Our members to pk but we do  have a small active core group that does Pk every day
On Night scream  in  moria  and other places on the main maps and we do have a fair few members who do attend Tw's and willing to learn more about Tw's  & Pkings

we all so have a few aussie's n kiwis  in faction plus alot of others are on around your time zone

I will second Shindola here.  Not sure of your time zone, but we are especially active during that US primetime.  I've seen at least 30 people online during this time, and 20-ish in the morning.  We may not be a powerhouse (yet), but I have a ***ton of fun while over there. 

I do understand the frustration though.  Since I've been on EPW, I've joined 3 factions (4 if you want to count my own).  ONe was always dead (and was drama-filled every. fricken. day.), and one is always quiet during the times that I can play due to work.  Finding your "just right", might take a bit, but don't give up.

To be honest, there hasn't been that much fun pvp lately (for myself and the people I know) so some people aren't logging on as much these days. Hopefully things will pick up again.

Yes there is pvp but not as much during NZ timezone as far as I know based on my experience of being a hermit in the depths of the night in the Canadian timezone . The pk during this timezone is usually with the Asian factions but it is larger pk because of alliances. For pvp factions on the smaller scale that I've seen frequently out pking in this timezone would probably be Shindola, Warning, and Ruthless. The odd time you will find some pk that isn't too faction picky, and is just a conglomerate of people that know each other. GL  .
