Since over time I've seen a lot of people asking which class is better for PVP/PVE and stuff, maybe a classes guide will help.
Before the guide I'd have to ask people to maybe make a bit more complex guide on the classes. If someone is willing to do so, send me a msg on forums with it and I'll add it here. Tried to look for each class guide but didn't found... I'll mention who makes the guides dw. '-'
I love stories so wrote the "Origin" of races and each class' description.

Human

Long ago, powerful souls went to the fairy world, while the weak souls remained behind to suffer hunger and devastation. Eventually the souls grew powerful and resilient enough to obtain their own physical forms.
This is what we now know as the Human race. After the Sea of Blood disaster, only the strong were chosen by the Gods  to begin life in Perfect Word.
Blademaster: Gifted with amazing flexibility, Humans adapt easily to every new situation.
Wizard: They prefer to cast damaging spells from a distance, and are masters of water, fire, and earth. However, their bodies are weak and not suited for close combat.

Usually bms go demon. They are good for their survivability during mass PK also for the many stuns. For gears, for mass pk most bms go for r8, ornaments: neck & belt elemental ress. For mass PK mostly use the vitality tome, during 1v1 the str one.
Disrupted: The CC class for mass. Blademasters are a very fun class to play in mass. You are basically there to disrupt what the enemy is doing. Blademasters job is essentially to stun everyone they can while adding a few AoE's in the mix to help with the damage output. Drakes Bash the 7 second stun is used mainly on DD's or Clerics, while Roar of the Pride the AoE stun is used in the groups. Blademasters also have this great AoE for mass, Heavens Flame. Heavens Flame is used to make all enemies in the radius take 100% more damage (if demon) for the next 9 seconds, which makes it easy for all the classes in the party to use their AoEs in that area to drop everyone. Gear wise Blademasters need the most out of any other class really. For mass, r8r is a must. For weapons you will need many. The easy weps are the dragon pike and claw, the pike is used to debuff, the claw for aps. The r8r weapons you need now are the hard part, you need 2 poleaxes, one with defense levels to tank(your main wep in mass) and one with GoF(you use this when you HF and followed up with an AoE for maximum damage). You need the r8r pike with accuracy and defense/attack levels on it, depending what you want to do with it, the pike is mainly used to use the 33% chance stun skill, or dropping Glacial Spike a big debuff skill that lasts only a couple of seconds, but can allow for almost any class to get 1shot because when it is demon it drops the physical defense by 90% and magical defense by 60%. You will need the r8r sword with defense levels on it, to use the primal skill star smite which gains you 50 chi aka half a spark, this is what i use to gain all my chi and keep it above 2sparks because a Blademaster with no chi is useless. You will need both the Ascended Dragon Cape(to tank) and the Ascended Supreme Robe(for more stats to help kill) aswell as two tomes. You need the vit tome/ str tome, Vit tome to tank and the Str tome for a damage boost with more accuracy. Gear wise for r8r you will need varied stats depending on what kind of BM you are. IF you are full tank you need physical/magic damage reduction % on every peice as the main stat (2 or more stats of it) and for the 3rd go for -chan or str. If you are a glass cannon meaning you will do alot of damage but not tank as much you will go for Full Str/-Chan/Crit or -int on the gear. Blademasters are also a hard class to get used to, it will not be possible for you to master instantly, or even start out doing well. It is a very gear and skill dependant class, give it time for you to learn how to do what and when to do what and you will dominate.

Wizard

They prefer to cast damaging spells from a distance, and are masters of water, fire, and earth. However, their bodies are weak and not suited for close combat.

Like most AA classes and builds, they go for a lot of channeling and atk lvl. Their best atk is the fire combo. For mass PK their defense is really weak but they deal a lot of damage so they good for the distance. Also, most of them are demon, didn't really saw sage wizards.

 

Untamed

Life within Perfect World has evolved, bringing forth new creatures. Amidst them is a lovely and feral race known as the Untamed.
This race was born from the various vase creatures such as foxes and tigers, now molded into powerful beings. While the male of this race retained their barbarous animal nature, their females have evolved even further into great magic users.

Barbarian

They are formidable tanks with the highest health pool and defense of all other classes.

They are great tanks, specially for their high HP. For support barb best choice is sage, for dmg demon.

Venomancer

They train all manner of bests and pets to fight for them, and poison their enemies with their arsenal of toxins.

The main reason why (in my opinion) sage is better for support is because most debuffs are slightly better sage than demon, for example purge is aoe while demon isnt, and a lot more. Now it depends on everyone how they build their veno, I've seen venos using Dragon Top while rest r8 with def wep or just full r8 with reduce phy x2 on most pieces and advanced dragon cape.
Demon is better for DDing because the "normal form" skills are a better than sage, nova having the HF effect also Ironguard can 0 pdef.
As for gears most venos got for full chan (2x chan top/bottom/boots 1x chan wrists or if lucky 2x there too...) and atk.2 ornaments. Also supreme robe cape

Pet Evolution

Winged Elf

Once, Gods and men alike feasted joyously together. After many years of kinship and prosperity, a new generation of half-god, half-mortal offspring was born. To these children, the Gods granted wings, and the gift of flight.
Children born to a human mother were excellent archers with black wings; whereas the children mothered by a Goddess were masters of magic with white wings.

Cleric

They are blessed with sacred healing skills, and are proficient with wind, thunder, and lightning.

For support clerics, mostly are hybrids, using HA helmet and top or pants along with R8 gears. Usually support clerics, as any support build go for a lot of defense not having much chan on gears, for this they have the sage buff that gives 20% chan, also I've seen mostly use Ascended Dragon Cape along with def ornaments. If you don't like hybrid there's the other option of vit build, meaning full AA gears, but again, without much channeling.  For a complex guide for demon support clerics check:

Archer

They are dexterous and swift warriors, and employ an unparalleled range of attacks.

For APS archer best suited is demon, also for mass PK for their fast attacks and also purging with bow. For DPH archer best suited is sage, for the fast spam of skills crit and such.

Tideborn

The Tideborn were an ancient tribe who were devout worshipers of a great water God. Eventually their God endowed them with the ability to live on both land and sea.
It was because of this special gift that the tribe was able to find Perfect World’ but was scon lost somewhere in the Sea of Reality.
After years of wandering the sea, the tribe settled on Barrier Island. Here they began their life of the Tideborn.

Psychic

They use mysterious powers to cripple their opponents, ensuring that each attack on them comes at a high self-damage price on their attacker.

From Mikau: A psy is usually sage (I've hardly seen demon ones), as sage Psychic Will gives 10 seconds of physical immunity, and White Doodoo gives more defense levels. But regardless of their cultivation, they are a pure pain in the ass.  

Well i have r8 demon psy and it's rather easy to play.. Camp white voodo, untill you immobilise/stun the adversary, switch back to black voodoo, tide spirit for channeling and dmg, i for one use extreme poison too (genie skill), and then just nuke them.. they have relatively high dmg and if crit, it hits over 20k. but there are so many strategies, psychic will is very usefull too when fighting meele characters. Empowered/Diminished vigours are very usefull too.. You just have to learn what each skill does and figure out a strategy of your own trial and error thats how you get it done.

Assassin

They can disappear at will, and employ their stealth to deal explosive damage to their opponents.

Well yea, for PVE best is demon, for PVP sage. Even tho there are a few demon PVP sins.

Earthguard

The number of souls in the mortal world grew quickly due to years of war. Deities sent their emissaries to screen the souls. The good souls were allowed to sleep peacefully, while the evil souls were subject to purification. After 500 years, the number of evil souls were growing. To combat the evil souls, deities awoke the good souls, endowed them with magic powers and opened their third eye. There souls came to be known as Earthguard.

Seeker

They train in both the martial and arcane arts, and use the element ofmetal to enhance their close-combat swordplay.

Professional: They are both APS and DPH, most of seekers are sage, they are not good for mass PK but excellent in 1v1, they deal a lot of damage with the right combo.

Mystic

They summon a variety of powerful creatures and plants to fight for their cause.

They are usually demon, you could say they are a combination of wizard and veno, and no, they not a F1 F2 class. >.>
From Mikau: As for Mystic, the culti choice is not really as black and white as you put it.  A sage mystic has a Rapid Growth that has a chance to have its cooldown RESET.  I've had that happen to me 3 times in a row, and that is just mean because it's basically 24 seconds of 0 channeling.  They also have a purifying Break in the Clouds, which is the fastest channeling heal that a mystic has.  It's not 100%, but it can be extremely annoying.
