europeans got the same problem on pwi servers (except morai server).... just deal with it or dont go NW

You are not pinoy (you say) but you are obviously from Asia or a closer timezone. So, you only see pinoys online when you play. I used to think 90% of EPW was pinoy. But then I stayed up one night (for some reason) and found out that there are a LOT of Euros and Americans. They are a majority on this server as well. And the server is European which means the event times would be to suit the Europeans, clearly.

Every now and then theres posts asking to change the server time to make TW, NW etc more suitable to specific groups.

TLDR;
The short answer is "No, it won't happen.".  As for changing the times on TW itself, they are hardcoded, they appearently can't be editted.

EPW currently has most of it's population in 3 main areas: North America, Europe & Eastern Asia. (Most, not all.)
As most people will know, all of these are in very different timezones.
Northern America is mostly in UTC-8 to UTC-4.  (Most of the USA & Canada as well as some of Southern America.)
Europe is mostly in UTC to UTC+2 (Western europe and most of eastern europe.)
Eastern Asia is mostly in UTC+7 to UTC+9. (China, Korea, Phillipines.)


Convenient hours for TW are mostly between 7 and 11 pm local time. (To avoid work, TW ending too late etc.)
Current server time is at UTC-1. TW (and NW etc) begin around 8pm server time.

Right now in Europe this means that TW is around 9pm to midnight. - Perfect timing.
In America it's around 1pm to 4pm.  - Decent timing on weekends, bad on weekdays.
In eastern asia it's around 4am to 6am.  - Bad timing all around.

Let's see what happens if server time is shifted to be perfect for the other major timezones.

If server time were at UTC-7:
The TW time for northern America would be between 19:00 and 23:00. -Perfect.
The TW time for Europe would be between 01:00 and 04:00 - bad.
The TW time for Eastern Asia would be between 10:00 and 12:00, decent on weekends, bad on weekdays.
Same result. Bad timing for one group, decent for another, good for the third.

If server time were at UTC+7.
The TW time for Eastern asia would be between 20:00 and 22:00, perfect.
The TW time for Europe would be between 13:00 and 16:00, decent on weekends, bad on weekdays.
The TW time for Northern America would be between 05:00 and 09:00, Bad.

Again, same result.

EPW is hosted and managed from Europe, which is why the timezone is set to be convenient for europe. Since every other configuration will still end in the same net result of one group in bad timing, one in decent timing & one in good timing there is no point in changing it.

Just for completeness sake, here's a table with all 24 possible server timezones and the resulting TW hours for each group. (Please correct me if I messed up any of the times, I'm not very used to dealing with timezones.)

Northern America: UTC-8 to UTC-4
Europe: UTC to UTC+2
Eastern Asia: UTC+7 to UTC+9

Im mostly EU time zone(GMT +2:00)
Doesnt matter what u see another time playing.Read twice or whatever u need times to understand

If server located at eu and a lot eu/american players doesnt mean its only for em.

Administrator interested in good quality online players.
Doesnt see the problem, for example. to make make +1 another NW for their timezone.
