This is only my opinion of course, too many great anime out there to pick just 3...but I'll give it a shot.

TV Shows:

1)Ao No Exorcist (There is WAY more to this in the manga than just the anime. Starts off sad and intense, then turns into something more relaxed with occasional twists)

2)Gosick (Full of mystery with enjoyable main characters)

3)No Game No Life (Ongoing, but it's filled with laughs and dorkiness)

Movies:

1)Spirited Away (This one NEVER gets old for me)

2)Patema Inverted (Interesting and beautiful)

3)Princess Mononoke (Ok so I'm a sucker for the classics )

2)Persona 4
3)Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind

2. Ouran High School Host Club

3. Attack on titans / Fullmetal Alchemist

Yet to watch Ghost in shell.. which was highly praised by my friend .. so it might alter my list once i have watched..

1. Doraemon - how in the world people forget Doraemon?!?!?! Best anime
2. Shingeki no Kyoujin- super great plot and too much creativity.
3. Kore Wa Zombie desu ka?

9. Gokukoku no Brynhildr
10. Btooom!

No Bleach/Naruto/Fairy Tail cos same crap in them over and over again, get ass kicked, miracle power, kick enemy ass. Repeat and you have these 3 animes. And ofc power of friendship bs.
One Peace is the worst anime I've ever seen.

Also, not mentioning fan service animes that have 2819789 ecchi scenes.

The Familiar of Zero is the only anime I've ever really watched. I liked it (but only dubbed. Was much funnier that way). Seen a few episodes of SOA, Claymore, but that's all.

Howl's Moving Castle is an awesome movie, too.
