Where is normal one?

I came from PWI.
Made Veno, standard AA build, but see only Pataka for STR.

Where is the normal Pataka? I don't see it in any forge.
(But I saw one Veno wielding it.)

Don't tell me there's no classic Pataka for level 150.
Noone can be so (put-your-own-word) to remove it.

You have the R8 recasted pataka. Else most AA venos use the Dragon Glaive for 150.
The pataka is for HA venos.

If you saw a Veno with a Pataka that required magic, it was probably a R8 Pataka or an old one, I think the old Pataka's requirements weren't changed. Most venos here use Glaives, but the R8 weapon is still a Pataka.

In terms of using a weapon, the Dragon Glaive will win out over pretty much any of the other magic weapons, getting an arcane version of it wouldn't change much.

The thread doesn't make sense, in the end you will have a bunch of weapons in your inventory, better and more useful than a "classic" pataka, but if you want to waste your time go ahead.

Ok I will stick with magic sword. It's min overpowers glaive's min.
Sword can never hit as low as glaive and pataka sometimes can.
Ok, next hit can sometimes be higher than sword's max.
And sometimes not.

Wand is even more consistent, but has def oriented blue stats.

Yeah wands have the short end of the stick.  Only decent wands in game are ones for mystics, and only if you get good stats.

I love the way patakas look too, which is why I'm glad we have weapon skins.

Can't remove what was never brought here. You have to adapt to the way the server is. Glaive is the normal default wep. For venos or any magic class here unless you get R8.

The sword is nice for the crit and higher min. 

However, the glaive still tends to outdamage and outfunction the sword due to the higher channeling.  Doing faster damage and channeling all non-damage skills faster is still better overall.

Just my opinion ofc.  Good luck with whichever you choose.
