it can work for one side but not for other.
for example u would be able to see whos coming near you, this way PvP would kinda suck.

Not like you can do many things when someone comes at you while you are attacking/supporting in mass pk... You usually start to avoid it whenever you see something different on your damage log.

are you being serious right now? i'm sure most have actually experienced uncapped zoom limits, but for our lesser-members:

you cannot zoom out indefinitely. even if you could, the perspective would never permit you to see further than the minimap. not much further than the current zoom limits, you hit a "wall"(engine related) that causes the camera to glitch. the camera resets to the base of your model and doesn't go any further. even if you could somehow zoom out far enough to match the diameter of the minimap, you couldn't see any character models anymore due to rendering limitations

this change will not have an impact on pvp in any form
