Revamped Abaddon and Seat of Torment

[Steroids]

I'm sure everyone has been trying to get titles and there is a certain title that needs a few bosses from various FBs. Well the others are easy, but the revamped SoT and Abaddon are a pain in the ass if you don't know what you're doing. Here, I'll explain how to get to, and kill, every important boss in both the instances. This will include the BH bosses, culti bosses and the title bosses. Also, I'd like to thank ladyvanos and Johannia for helping me work it out the first time. (you guys rock)

The starting point of Abaddon has changed, it is now

and right off the bat, you'll see a meteor shower, kinda.

Well, don't worry, it's not like the "Balls of Death" from TT. These only hit you for 1 - 2k each but they also slow you down, which does get annoying.

No matter which boss you actually want to kill, you just have to kill the Puppeteer. So, we're going to have to kill it first.

Make your way to (feel free to pull, the mobs have a lot more hp but no stun, I quite enjoy pulling Abaddon now)

It's tough (for some people) to solo. But still possible. After the boss starts attacking you, start counting how many times he hits. He hits 4 times and then casts the jailing skill. After his 4th hit, wait for a second and spark. Not sure if AD works but spark definitely works. You have to time it right and you'll need some practice but it works.

If you have a squad, just attack him all at once. One will be jailed, rest of the squad can go on. Read ahead, you'll know why it's fine to leave him behind.

You'll stay in there for a while, then, you'll be ported back to the boss. So the trick here is to attack using 2 people (you can dual client) While one is in jail, the other one keeps attacking so that the boss won't reset.

Now, the others can stay here. Only the leader is needed for the next part. First go to

If the mobs aren't hitting enough to kill you, leave them alone. You'll see

Now talk to her and take the quest "To the Past! (Leader)" This will port all members of the squad to the old entrance of Abaddon but this will be in the past.

As soon as you get to the old entrance, you'll see a

So, go ahead and take the quest "To Leaf Rain Dryad" This time, every squad member will have to take the quest, the whole squad won't be teleported.

No changes done to this boss, she's the same old annoying b*tch that she always was.

As soon as you get to the old entrance, you'll see a

So, go ahead and take the quest "To Thom Mundan" This time, every squad member will have to take the quest, the whole squad won't be teleported.

No changes here either.

For the next boss, you'll see a "Chrono Sprite" nearby, just talk to it to teleport.

As soon as you get to the old entrance, you'll see a

So, go ahead and take the quest "To Gaurnob Cloister G." This time, every squad member will have to take the quest, the whole squad won't be teleported.

No changes here either.

For the next boss, you'll see a "Chrono Sprite" nearby, just talk to it to teleport.

As soon as you get to the old entrance, you'll see a

So, go ahead and take the quest "To Monoblat Dracoboa" This time, every squad member will have to take the quest, the whole squad won't be teleported.

No changes here either.

For the next boss, you'll see a "Chrono Sprite" nearby, just talk to it to teleport.

Sadly, this boss has no teleport. So, you can either take the quest "To Mountain Finger" or "To Haunted Headless". Then make your way to Peachblossom Ritualist.

No changes done to this boss either. And your culti run finishes.

Now comes the tough part. Well, Borobudur, was present in the future Aba but he was immune to damage. So, now, we'll have to go back to the future. To do this, first, talk to a Chrono Sprite and take the quest "Return to the Entrance"

Then, you have to kill a boss called "Mask of Grief" Make your way to (and kill mobs when you get there, just in case)

He heals himself so it might be tough to solo him. But with 2, its easy.

Now comes the toughest part. The 4 puppets. First of all, walk back to the entrance. And then talk to Chrono Sprite. Now, you'll have a new quest here, "To Time Shifter"

Yes, he's right there but still immune

Ignore him. You have to kill the 4 puppets. Well, the location of these puppets changes. But, they are always in the north-eastern part of the instance. So, check out these 3 spots.

Now, first of all, you might want to kill all the mobs and bosses (if any) at the spot, before you start focusing on the puppets. Anyway, the puppets are like players. They have classes and they have skills. Puppet Archer, Puppet Cleric, Puppet Blademaster etc with the EA, EP and BM skills.

I've done 2 runs so far and in my first run, I found puppets at spot no. 1. The puppets were Cleric, Archer, BM and Wizard. Now these can be very, very annoying. They use stuns, debuffs, heals etc. So, use PK tactics here. Wipe out the heal first. Let the bm stunlock one of your squad members while another one kills the wizard etc.

At spot 2, the puppets were Mystic, Barbarian, Venomancer and Seeker.

At spot 3, the puppets are: Assassin, Blademaster, Psychic and Cleric

The AA classes have 900k hp, LA classes have the 900 - 1 mil HP. BM or Seeker have 1.2 mil HP and Barbs have 1.8 mil HP. Obviously, you still hit hard on these mobs.

Once you're done with the puppets. Either walk back to Time Shifter or teleport back (depending on the availability of Chrono Sprite) (I made a mistake while editing, the Entrance in the above picture is the Time Shifter)

The Time Shifter is in the center of the structure. The leader has to talk to it and take the quest "Return to the Future"

After this, you'll see arrows on the floor, they lead to various "orbs".

In all, there are 4 "orbs" red, green, white and yellow.

Once you take the quest, one of the orbs will light up. So, visit all of them until you see one lit up.

Then go back to the Time Shifter and tell him which orb is lit.

White = Blue like water.
Green = Green like the leaves on a tree.
Yellow = Gold like..well, gold!
Red = Red like blood.

Then, according to the orb, you'll have to dig an item. The objects are "Exquisite Wood/Blood/Water/Gold" Again,

White = Blue
Green = Green
Yellow = Gold
Red = Red

And the objects are around the Time Shifter, after the bridges.

North = Water
East = Wood
South = Gold
West = Red

Once you dig the item, turn the quest in at the Time Shifter.

If you did everything correctly,

Now, repeat this twice. You have to be right, three times in a row.

Now the squad leader will have to take the quest "Back to the Future (Leader)" from the Time Shifter. Everyone will be ported to Borubudur's spot. And this time, he's not immune to damage. Nor are the bosses behind him.

Now, if you have a HA class with you, you can let him tank all 4 bosses while the rest of the squad attacks Borubudur. He heals himself so its tough to solo. But 2 people attacking at once should do the trick. After he's dead, kill the other bosses.

Again, in this guide, I'll show locations of the BH boss, Culti bosses and Voidweaver (BH Divine)

Luckily, the entrance to SoT hasn't changed.....unfortunately, almost everything else has changed. As soon as you get in, you'll see two NPCs, Autumn Song's Soul and Crystal Clam. Autumn's Song's Soul will serve as the teleporter for this instance. Crystal Clam, however, summons a crystal which we have to activate by breaking powerballs.

So, go ahead and take the Dense Crystal quest from the Clam (This can only be done by the squad leader)

First of all, you'll see



In all, there are three colors of powerballs, red, yellow and blue. In my case, I got blue. The color given as soon as the crystal is spawned remains constant through out.



Every round, you'll see 6 powerballs surrounding the crystal, 2 of each color. You'll have to be quick and destroy the 2 of the color you got. Each round lasts for 10 seconds, so, its pretty easy to do this. In all, there are 5 rounds. You can target the powerball by clicking on the things below them.



You'll still see a quest there after you successfully charge the crystal. Ignore that.

Talk to Autumn Song's Soul and take the quest "To Bloody Courtyard"

You'll be ported to



Now, this is where it all becomes tricky. First of all, there are Rabid Dogs. They are huge in size, can't miss them. They look slow, but once they aggro on you, they will be faster. Almost as fast as a barb in tiger form. Also, they are immune to damage, but they don't hit much. As you must've noticed, there are two triangular paths here. In each of the triangles, there are three dogs, moving in unified motion. So, you'll have to sandwich yourself between two dogs, while maintaining sufficient distance from both. The dogs all move in one direction so it's not really that tough. Their paths:



Well, follow this route while avoiding the dogs. (Black route for those that think they can go in the opposite direction of the dogs, not that tough. White route for those that want to play it safe)



At the end is Infernal Spikewing, easy to kill. Only thing changed here is that he might port you to the Devilwood that is behind him. His HP won't reset but you'll be transformed into a kid and you won't be able to attack him. But the effect wears off pretty quickly.

Walk back to Autumn Song's Soul to continue.

Talk to Autumn Song's Soul and take the quest "To Hell Trap"

You'll be ported to



now, you'll see,



These are like the balls in TT 1 - 3. If they touch you, you'll be ported to the entrance. At the end of every path, there is a mob that spawns these balls, if it is killed, the balls won't spawn. So, if you have a sin in squad, ask him to walk to the mob in stealth (the balls can't kill you in stealth, I checked) and kill the mob so that the rest of the squad can move up.



Follow this route, avoiding balls, killing mobs etc.



At the end, you'll see Rancid Venerator. This boss hasn't changed at all, easily kill-able. There is no Autumn Song's Soul nearby so, walk back to the entrance to continue.

Talk to Autumn Song's Soul and take the quest "To Nightmare Gate"



You'll be ported to



Now, follow this route



When you get to place circled in white, you'll see a Tower of Molten Flame. Kill it. Then continue on your route, killing mobs on the way.

The Torturess hasn't really changed. Only thing that's changed is that she recovers HP from time to time. If you're an aps class, simply spark before starting to attack her. If you're dph....well you should be able to kill it pretty easily.

Go back to where you started and talk to Autumn Song's Soul to continue.

Talk to Autumn Song's Soul and take the quest "To Bloody Courtyard"

No changes done to Voidweaver. Still as easy as it was before. Go back to where you started and talk to Autumn Song's Soul to continue.

Follow this path



Lord of Captivation hasn't changed.

Go back to where you started and talk to Autumn Song's Soul to continue.

For this, first kill the other 3 cultivation bosses.

Talk to Autumn Song's Soul and take the quest "To Nightmare Gate"



You'll be ported to



First go to the places circled in white and kill the towers (the left one is immune to physical attacks) then follow the black route.



If you kill it fast enough, you won't have to deal with energy stars. But, just in case, here's what it is.

An energy star will spawn, something like



Target it (you might have to tab-target it) and kill it. After the star falls, there'll be a green trap in it's place (somewhat like the claps from TT, without the hands of course)

Soon after the energy star spawns, a mob will also spawn near Hellfire Abomination.



As you can see, it has a lot of HP and by the time you can drain all it's hp (even with a full squad) more will spawn. So, take aggro of the mob and lead it away from the boss



and towards the trap



Once it enters the trap and starts losing hp, it'll just stay there, even if you move away. Also, in case you didn't spawn a trap for the first mob and another one spawned, you can trap two mobs in one trap.



On my barb, I can easily tank mob(s) long enough to kill Hellfire but low level squads or AA classes might not be able to do it.

Ah, time for the tough one. She is somewhat similar to Hellfire Abomination, she spawns minions too. However, Hellfire's minions are low damage, easily tankable. The ones she spawns can kill you...and her damage isn't low either. So, here's how you do it.

First of all, if you want this to go smoothly, you're gonna need at least 2 people in squad (dual client works too) Then, you're gonna have to go back to the dogs, and dig Requiem Crystals and Wildrose Blossoms

Then make your way to the boss.

Well, to start it, you have to kill the 4 Fairy Guardians around her. It's not like they do anything but it does help to get them out of the picture.

By the time you kill all 4, she would say something like



When she says that, she spawns a group of Candlewick Hornets. They deal around 400 damage on my ApS build barb and 600 on a pure magic mystic. But, again, clear them out using AoE skills.

Or she could say something like



Now, here's when it becomes difficult. When she says that, she spawns a Rabid Demon Mastiff. Again, he doesn't hit much but when the boss casts her skill, all these minions low hits might just kill you. Always kill the minions. However, these Rabid Demon Mastiffs are immune to damage. For these, you have to target them and use a Tranquil Wildrose that you dug earlier.

She'll keep spawning Hornets or Demons or both. Just keep killing them using AoEs so that she takes some damage too and of course, hit her between two spawn waves. Eventually she'll say something like,



IG/Spark/AD/something like that, as soon as you can cuz



and the only reason I got hit only 3 times by the skill is because it already killed me (I forgot to take out minions ._.)

Once you learn how to time this right, it's really no big deal to kill her.

Now, you're gonna have to decide roles. If you have a barb in squad, tell him to keep aggro of the Queen and give him some Tranquil Wildroses. And the others have to keep Requiem Crystals with them and kill the minions that she spawns.

To start, kill the 4 Guardian Fairies around her while the barb/your tank gets the aggro of the boss. You all can start killing the boss after the minions but if you gain aggro, stop attacking and let your tank get it back.

While you attack her, she'll say

The first dialogue is followed by her summoning a group of Candlewick Hornets, take 'em out quickly. The second is followed by her summoning a Rabid Demon Mastiff (Immune to damage)

Now, the tank has to target the Demon and use a Tranquil Wildrose. After using that, the tank has to go back to aggro-ing the boss while the rest of the squad takes the Demon out.

She keeps spawning her minions but you can use AOEs to attack her while killing minions and you can hit her before she starts spawning. After a while, she'll say



Now, one of your team-mates has to target your tank and use the Requiem Crystal. Basically, you have to use that on whoever has aggro when she says that. That's pretty much it.

I never even realised it had a special. I guess being a veno running up, amping etc took just the amount of time needed to spark trough the special. Oh the things you learn from reading occasional guides.
