Making it 1k ec is a little too much, ijs. Normally I don't have that much and I switch mains a lot, and I like to stay married to my boyfriend on my main, lol. Alright, I know on normal PWI, marriages are crazy expensive, and they're taken a lot more seriously because of it, or not depending on the wealthy people who just don't care. In general though, marriage on this server is taken as a complete joke from what I've seen... So my suggestion is:~ 1. Make it more expensive. (Probably around 1k+ EC as that is decently expensive)~ 2. Make it so people have really nice rewards for completing a LOT of marriage quests. (Preferably exclusive rewards so that marriage is seen as a positive thing to achieve)Right now, there's nothing really too exclusive from it and there's no incentive to stay married. I personally am getting tired of the spamming on WC of people asking for a multitude of wives to add to a list, or just simply trolling. Some ideas for rewards:~1. An exclusive helm that's for level 150 that's better than the Dragon Helm (Doesn't have to be tons better, BUT even a little better would be nice and an incentive for people to go for it) and that would cost at LEAST 150+ MQ hearts. ~2. Add some items like Event Tokens, Super Level Scrolls, Supply Tokens, etc. ~3. Add some new fashion/mounts/flyers that are marriage quest exclusive and require at least 30+ hearts to obtain. (You can even make a fashion design contest for the fashion if you want to)

Who really cares how many times people get married? Its just a game and most of the time, marriage is done for the lols (see: Steroids). Its not interfering with anyone's day so I don't see how it's a problem. Having exclusive marriage items that basically just reward getting married would create an unfair advantage to those that don't get married in-game (like myself). Things are fine as is, not to mention there are far more important things Agatio has to deal with.

I really would rather you just state yours without dismissing or demeaning mine in a negative way. 1k-2.5k EC a pack seems about right to me for marriage, in PWI it was something special and even in some other private servers, it was something a little more rare than it is here. Also, that's not an unreasonable amount to farm for it. Marriage is treated as a joke, and to me it shouldn't be, if that's not your opinion, fine, but do not belittle me for mine please. I treat it as something special and meaningful even if it is on a GAME, it still involves REAL people with REAL feelings. Sure some people will take it as just a game, no attachment, that's fine, that's your choice. Same with people who only marry friends, that's fine too, no one is saying its not nor denying you the ability to treat it as such. Please stop assuming and getting defensive. As for marriage quest, it should not be a waste of time, nor treated as a joke either, I personally went the 300+ days of doing MQ in the normal game to get that teleport to your spouse skill on PWI and it was plenty worth it to me. That's 10 months of doing that quest. It WAS something special when I achieved that and I like long haul rewards for long term goals. It adds a sense of achievement which is vital to the health of MMOs in general and this game has very few long term goals since most everything can be farmed quickly, easily and then we're just expected to PK the rest of our days and be satisfied? Sorry, that's not where I find my fun, my personal fun is from achieving long term goals and accomplishing things, that's what keeps me hooked to a game, otherwise I get bored and move on quickly. Its not just the spam of people marrying that's the problem, its the attitudes behind it and the misogyny that breaks out unpunished on WC about it that I find rather offensive. And how is something exclusive to anything excluding others? If you don't think its worth while to go for it, then don't, there's nothing stopping you from opting out of it. I said nothing about an overpowered helm that was game breaking and would make this game unbalanced, I only said something marginally better, which could mean anything from a tiny boost in HP, to something significant, but I was trying to keep the point at something only a bit better and quite costly for only that tiny increase. If its not worth it to you, that's fine, it would be to someone like me and perhaps some others. Also, it was a suggestion among other possible rewards.

but, not wanting to sound like a dick or anything...but not everyone gets what they wants...just because marriage isnt expensive, doesnt mean that it should hold the same value to someone else just because you want it to.if you wanna marry someone for a good reason, do it.other peoples marriages shouldnt affect your life... ijs
