I mean, as long as the server is online, you can log in to your account. Meaning you can vote. You might not be able to get ingame, but you can vote. So it's entirely possible that Agatio is 5 minutes away from fixing it, and it's entirely possible that he hasn't made any headway.

I do to and it is hard to wait but all good things take time and now GV will be safe again from thieves

So now a full GV will give 58 from mobs and 60 to players.
The 58 can still be scammed from people who don't split fairly.

The lowest you can get from a GV is 10, the highest is 68 and the fair split is 19-20 each.
Inb4 people "only" get 10 OEC and still complain about being scammed, because no one will be grateful of Agatio's work and just "EXPECT" 20 OECs per run.

Thanks for the update, it does make GV, over all, more profitable!

I think what they meant was that the mushrooms no longer give OEC, just regular coins, and now the OEC is just a quest reward from the bosses.

But I could be mistaken.

I was led under the impression from rage-a-holic friends that "mobs drop coins" meant OECs. Having just clicked I feel stupid probably just means NPC "max 200m" big note sorta coins.
