Windows 8

Seems like that Perfect World doesn't work on Windows 8.

PWI fixed this problem so we will only be able to fix this issue on our next update, which is Morai Expansion.

So if you are thinking in installing Windows 8, know that EpicPW won't work anymore.

Sorry for any troubles this caused.

Solutions found so far for this problem:

~ You can run a virtual machine with Windows7 and it will work just fine.

And Jackal, no, Windows 7 and Vista are two separate operating systems

yea Microsoft released a pre version of Windows 8, just beta as everything else.
And im not updating yet my Windows, im sticking to 7 for the moment. At least till i see 8 isnt another failure like Vista lol

Ok, thanks guys for the info! Yeah, I'm sticking with Windows 7 for now too. I used to use eMerge desktop shell when I had Vista.

Im beta testing win 8 atm. Its faster than win7, but its intresting to navigate.

I tried several things to get EPW to work on win8...no luck so far.
PWI works fine on windows 8 though.

Just run a virtual machine with win7 and you will have it working just fine. It's a easy bypass
